Boris is a great Somelier!! The selection of wines are fantastic and better than most you will find. Highly recommended for a visit next visit to Ljubljana!!! Orange wines are a must here, they will blow your mind!!!

Good fun, friendly group and nice atmosphere. We tried a wide range of Slovenian wines in a wine cellar. We didn’t get asked to pay €5 for chocolate- not sure where that came from in the other reviews I read!

Boris was a fantastic sommelier — he provided great information about the wine we sampled as well as general wine production in Slovenia. He was incredibly proud of the wine (and he should be — Slovenian wines are wonderful!) and he created a fun atmosphere for our wine tasting group. A great experience in Ljubljana!

This was a real wine tasting not a tourist party. We tasted 7 wines from several different Slovenian wine regions. You get enough nibbles to cleanse the palate but not for a meal. Our sommelier was knowledgeable, personable, and had great English. It’s what I had hoped for but didn’t expect. If you want to further your understanding of Slovenian wine this is the best way.

Fantastic experience. The venue was fantastic. (Who doesn’t love tasting good wine in an ancient wine cellar?) The wines were fun - some excellent, others “interesting” - but all fun. And, most of all, the host was great. Boris was informative, providing history and details of Slovenian wine regions, varietals and wine making methods, and funny/entertaining. We would highly recommend this activity.

The cave and overall ambiance contributed to an authentic experience. Boris is very knowledgeable and it was nice to learn more about the wines than is offered at traditional tastings (we are past, color, legs, nose, and taste). Although each wine was rather good, especially with the food parings offered, the orange was my favorite and my husband most enjoyed the Merlot. We found the seating to be incredibly uncomfortable which detracted from the overall experience. The bar for the foot rest was not wide enough to comfortably place both feet and the plexiglass under the table got in the way of knees. We have not yet received the pictures taken by Boris.

We had a wonderful time with our tasting guide Boris. We learned a lot about slovenian wine and tried fantastic slovenian wines.

Amazing wine tasting experience in a very old wine cellar! Boris was a great host and teacher for the evening, I learned so much about wine making in Slovenia. The ambiance of the wine cellar really adds to an already great experience. I will be ordering some wines to enjoy in the US!

Definately worth the money; the selection of wines is amazing and it compliments the ambient really well. Boris is also an amazing guide.

Great afternoon with Boris in his office (wine cellar) tasting wines from around Slovenia with cheese and chocolate to compliment flavors. Would recommend for anyone arriving in Slovenia and wanting a wine lesson.

Good introduction to Slovenian wines! A lot of information about food pairings and origin stories. We were very happy to have done this!

We loved this experience. We were informed thoroughly about the wine regions of Slovenia and tasted 7 different wines.

I learned a lot during the tasting. Afterwards we reschedule our trip and visited a couple of wineyards that the "instructor" recommended. It was awesome.

Having attended many wine tastings in the US, we were interested to learn more about Slovenian wines. This wine tasting was educational, enjoyable, fun and we left with a much greater appreciation for the great wines we enjoyed both at the wine tasting and our travels around the country. I highly recommend this outing if you enjoy exploring new wines.

Had a great time at the wine tasting in an old wine cellar. Plenty of snacks and lots of info on Slovenian wine. Went there with my dad an my two brothers, met a similar group and a solo traveler there. All great 👍 Tina, thank you!
