Slovenia is one of the best places I have ever been! This is possible with Katja who brought me to places that are non-touristy, but the views are superb!!! 💯 She arranged the itinerary according to the weather forecast for the day. She is flexible with your your time and will wait until you get the shot that you wanted. After the tour, she even recommended must see places to visit near my accommodation. I definitely recommend her especially to solo travelers that do not know how to drive 😅

I contacted Katja after seeing her trips and asked if there was a full day trip that we could do together that took me to all of the sights I wanted to see. Katja arranged an itinerary that took me everywhere I wanted to photograph and took the hassle out of navigating the roads and national parks. The weather wasn’t the greatest, in fact it had rained every day for a month when I had arrived. But Katja and her lovely Australian Shepherd whose name I can pronounce but absolutely cannot spell picked me up early in the morning and off we went. It was in fact raining but Katja amended the itinerary to get the best out of the weather that we had and we managed to get the most out of the day. She took me through some wonderful waterfalls, soca river, national parks etc etc. she was very accommodating and took more time if I needed it but essentially let me set the pace. For me it was one of the best things I did in the month I spent in the Balkans and I really enjoyed my time with Katja because she was so friendly and had many wonderful stories. She had a broad knowledge base for photography and for those who might just want a day trip of the area to see a lot of the sights she is a wonderful person to show you around. I also would like to mention that with the weather being so bad I wanted to see Vintar Gorge and I couldn’t get there after it rained. Katja the next day actually picked me up and dropped me off in both directions just to help me out - that’s how wonderfully kind she is. I am so thankful for such a great day in wonderful company soaking up excellent vie ws

We originally booked a photo tour with Katja including a workshop and an overnight stay in Pokljuka, but due to bad weather conditions we did instead a two day tour to some hidden places around Bohinj, which was a great alternative and Katja showed us how to get the most out of our photos even when it was raining and snowing. Since we enjoyed our first tour very much, we booked another private photo tour with Katja two days later. As agreed, Katja picked us up before sunrise and drove us to some stunning spots in the Slovenian and the Italian border area. That tour offered all the heart of a landscape photographer could possibly desire, like impressive lakes, the magical Soca River and various beautiful waterfalls. Another point worth mentioning in conclusion is that Katja is doing her job with great engagement and professionalism. We could improve our photography skills, we never felt to be in a hurry and had a lot of fun. All goals achieved! Hvala vam Katja!

We had a great tour with Katja who guided us to some fantastic spots for getting wonderful photos. The accommodation was wonderfully remote and alpine, and definitely an experience that you wouldn't find via traditional accommodation providers! Would strongly recommend this tour to anyone who loves the outdoors, exploring and, of course, photography!

Slovenia is a very beautiful country with wonderful people, and one of them is also Katja, who gave us an unforgettable tour - we saw magical scenes and learned a lot. She really has a sense of working with people :)

I went on a photo tour around Bled with Katja and had an amazing time. We learn so much about how to take good photos with your phone and how to find good compositions.
