Totally worth paying the small amount for the guide.
Our guide, Jerry was amazing. He was full of knowledge and passion. He really added to the experience.
Plus we avoided all the queues!

Very busy within the museum and very pleased we pre booked. Excellent museum which has free lockers to leave bags etc. Guide was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Information and displays all very good.

The museum itself organises tours, also on Mondays, but they might be sold out. There is lots of written information in the museum, so one does not need a guide or join a tour, although our guide was certainly really good.
