- D9967WUrossk0 contributionsGreat fun! Highly recommend.Learning to make pierogis was a very fun and tasty experience. Our instructor, Olga, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, guiding us through the whole process from mixing the dough, and choosing and mixing the fillings, to cooking the pierogis and what to serve them with. This class has made me want to do cooking classes whenever I travel :)Written 6 October 2024
- debraperlman0 contributionsA fun, flavorful night! We had Magda as our guide and she was not only charming, but a wealth of information about the Polish history and culture. She created a warm friendly atmosphere for our diverse group. We made many stops, but my favorites were the special dishes ordered at Pierogarnia Mirror and Kuchnia u Doroty. I highly recommend this tour!Written 27 September 2024
- maryloup6270 contributionsPierogi class with MagdaWe spent a wonderful afternoon with Magda, shopping in the market, then enjoying snacks and cheese & potato pierogi that we made in her apartment. She is a delightful young woman who shared what her life in Poland is like; she was a good teacher—pierogis were delicious!Written 25 September 2024
- jeffwZ8841PI0 contributionsNice event, misleading description. It was a very nice event, with a great hostess. The website says that alcohol is included, so we expected to have several drinks. We were told when we got there, that only one drink per person was included, and that we would have to purchase additional drinks from the bar. With the price of the additional drinks and the price of the class, we all felt that it was too expensive of an event, but we enjoyed learning how to make pierogi. Below is pasted directly from the Trip Advisor description. What's included Beverages Food tasting Local guide Alcoholic Beverages Bottled waterWritten 23 September 2024
- 4familytravelers0 contributionsFun & Tasty Cultural Experience Through FoodMy husband and I did this food tour with Bart and thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to food, we learned about Polish life and culture. Bart took us to some sites and provided historical context which was great. Our first food stop was to a beautiful Ratskeller-type restaurant with vaulted ceilings. Here we enjoyed a flight of Polish beers made at the restaurant and a charcuterie board of typical Polish sausages, meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables. Poles enjoy this charcuterie either for breakfast or a light evening meal. We then went to a bar reminiscent of the Communist era and frequented by locals to enjoy a vodka. Then we headed to a lovely restaurant for a traditional Polish Sunday meal which consisted of pierogi with mushroom sauce, wild boar, potato-based dumplings, and warm beets- was a filling and delicious meal. For dessert we had a traditional Polish yeast donut called a Paszcki. During dinner Bart gave us a glimpse into Polish life and issues of concern to Pokes today. We learned so much during our visit and meals. Bart speaks excellent English and is engaging and knowledgeable. If you want a way to learn about Polish history and culture while enjoying delicious Polish food, you won’t regret doing this food experience..Written 17 September 2024

- David_K_Seattle0 contributionsGreat guide, food, and company!I had a fantastic and tasty tour with Delicious Poland and our guide, Magda. First, communication was great. I was given timely and easy directions on when and where to meet. Second, absolutely do bring your appetite! I am glad that I did not have an afternoon snack before this tour, because there was so much delicious food. We started with a cheese and meats course, which was delicious and thoughtfully described by Magda. We later enjoyed local craft beer and vodka. We made our way to a charming underground dining area for fresh-made pierogis, with Magda describing the different flavors and traditions. We eventually arrived at another charming underground dining venue for a huge, tasty, multicourse meal, with kind narration from Magda. Along the way, between restaurants, Magda shared a lot of history, which was a nice touch. This was a great introduction to lovely Krakow, a nice way to meet fellow travelers (I was traveling solo), and a very good value. I would definitely book again.Written 13 September 2024

This tour was an amazing finish to my time in Krakow. Our tour guide was Alex and besides an interesting tour around the Jewish quarter, we were shown some breathtaking beers that I have have not tasted before and I am quite a big craft beer guy.
Alex was a very friendly tour guide and knowledgeable about beer and you couldn’t ask for more. He had a good time with us, having some drinks and taking us to one of his favorite bars after the tour.
Thanks Alex, had an absolute cracker of an evening.

Met our guide by the old synagogue and went to three bars where we tried plenty of nice, flavoursome beers. The guide was very knowledgeable and we also got some Polish tapas at the last bar and a lovely pizza bread en route. Highly recommend

This tour was a totally unexpected delight. Far exceeded our expectations and Anna our guide was fabulous. Excellent English and very very knowledgeable about more than just the craft beer - She also followed up with an email for other recommendations. This is definitely a must do for those who like speciality beers and it also gave you a great walking tour of the Jewish Quarter and beyond.

That this was the best part of my Krakow-trip given how much fun I had during the days there says quiet a lot. Kamila was the host for our evening and offered much insight in the area of Craft Beer during our evening. She was also a good company and made the evening very special and enjoyable. She rounded the tour of by giving us a really awesome map with pinpointed recommendations of what to do while staying in Krakow; which came in handy several times during the duration of my visit.
Highly recommend this tour and if you can then book it in the beginning of your visit to Krakow to really get a good start!

What a fantastic tour! This is an excellent way to spend a sunny afternoon/early evening in Kramow. Kamila and George lead us to three excellent craft beer bars all a very short distance from one another. The beer selection and local education from Kamila was second to none. We discovered excellent bars and areas of the city that wouldn't have found with out Kamila's guidance. This is an brilliant tour for a group of friends who enjoy a drink. The timings and walking distances were just right. We were able to sit and drink with out feeling like we were being moved on to the next bar. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time! The guides hand picked a great variety of beers which were all excellent. Both of our guides were great and very knowledgeable about the beer culture in Poland. The places we visited were perfect to enjoy good beers and a great conversation. The in between snack was delicious. Highly recommend this tour!
