Learning to make pierogis was a very fun and tasty experience. Our instructor, Olga, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, guiding us through the whole process from mixing the dough, and choosing and mixing the fillings, to cooking the pierogis and what to serve them with. This class has made me want to do cooking classes whenever I travel :)

We had Magda as our guide and she was not only charming, but a wealth of information about the Polish history and culture. She created a warm friendly atmosphere for our diverse group. We made many stops, but my favorites were the special dishes ordered at Pierogarnia Mirror and Kuchnia u Doroty. I highly recommend this tour!

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Magda, shopping in the market, then enjoying snacks and cheese & potato pierogi that we made in her apartment. She is a delightful young woman who shared what her life in Poland is like; she was a good teacher—pierogis were delicious!

It was a very nice event, with a great hostess. The website says that alcohol is included, so we expected to have several drinks. We were told when we got there, that only one drink per person was included, and that we would have to purchase additional drinks from the bar. With the price of the additional drinks and the price of the class, we all felt that it was too expensive of an event, but we enjoyed learning how to make pierogi. My husband and I did this food tour with Bart and thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition to food, we learned about Polish life and culture. Bart took us to some sites and provided historical context which was great. Our first food stop was to a beautiful Ratskeller-type restaurant with vaulted ceilings. Here we enjoyed a flight of Polish beers made at the restaurant and a charcuterie board of typical Polish sausages, meats, cheeses, and pickled vegetables. Poles enjoy this charcuterie either for breakfast or a light evening meal. We then went to a bar reminiscent of the Communist era and frequented by locals to enjoy a vodka. Then we headed to a lovely restaurant for a traditional Polish Sunday meal which consisted of pierogi with mushroom sauce, wild boar, potato-based dumplings, and warm beets- was a filling and delicious meal. For dessert we had a traditional Polish yeast donut called a Paszcki. During dinner Bart gave us a glimpse into Polish life and issues of concern to Pokes today. We learned so much during our visit and meals. Bart speaks excellent English and is engaging and knowledgeable. If you want a way to learn about Polish history and culture while enjoying delicious Polish food, you won’t regret doing this food experience..

Olga was fun and knowledgeable. She shared tricks and variations to the recipe. She explained everything clearly and was well prepared for the class.

I had a fantastic and tasty tour with Delicious Poland and our guide, Magda. First, communication was great. I was given timely and easy directions on when and where to meet. Second, absolutely do bring your appetite! I am glad that I did not have an afternoon snack before this tour, because there was so much delicious food. We started with a cheese and meats course, which was delicious and thoughtfully described by Magda. We later enjoyed local craft beer and vodka. We made our way to a charming underground dining area for fresh-made pierogis, with Magda describing the different flavors and traditions. We eventually arrived at another charming underground dining venue for a huge, tasty, multicourse meal, with kind narration from Magda. Along the way, between restaurants, Magda shared a lot of history, which was a nice touch. This was a great introduction to lovely Krakow, a nice way to meet fellow travelers (I was traveling solo), and a very good value. I would definitely book again.

Our tour with Magda was outstanding! The food, beer and vodka were great but Magda s commentary on the food, culture and history of Krakow and Poland were what made it special. A highlight of our trip.

Magda was an amazing guide, her English was fluent and she was very knowledgeable. The tour was light and the atmosphere was perfect, not to mention the food, which was of course delicious. We would have never found these places on our own. Super happy we did the tour, would highly recommend!

Magda was fabulous! I had a lot of fun and was so stuffed that I almost had to roll back to my hotel! She was interesting and shared her experiences of living in Poland.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed learning how to make pierogis the traditional way. Magda was so nice and gave us lots of wonderful recommendations for places to see in Krakow on our trip. Highly recommend this class with Magda!

This was one of the best choices I made while in Krakow. Konrad was an amazing guide, so knowledgeable about the history and the food. We tried a nice selection of dishes and they were fantastic. Definitely a great selection of Krakow's food scene and Konrad even gave some places for the rest of my time in the city. Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Great overview of Krakow, Polish food and history. Our guide, Magda, was amazing, and the food was delicious! Make sure you come to the tour hungry as there was sooo much food to try.
