Stroll the streets of Krakow’s UNESCO-listed Old Town and Kazimierz district on this 3-hour tour. Led by a guide, wander past top attractions, including St. Mary’s Basilica and the medieval Main Square. Learn about each architectural gem as you go, and explore the former city of Kazimierz, now a charming and history-steeped district of Krakow. Numbers are reserved to 20 to keep this experience as intimate as possible.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in central Krakow to begin your 3-hour tour. Gaze up at one of the oldest churches in Poland, the 11th-century St Adalbert Church, before following your guide across the city’s main square, constructed in 1257.

Make your way over to St Mary's Basilica, famous for its hejnal (bugle call) that rings out on the hour from the top of the church’s tallest tower. Then, travel inside the square's historic Cloth Hall. During its golden age in the 15th century, the hall was the source of exotic imports from the east, including spices, silk, leather and wax, while Krakow itself exported textiles, lead and salt.

After exploring the Old Town, take a break to sample some delicious traditional Polish Obwarzanek - unique bagel connected with Krakow’s heritage. Then continue to the Kazimierz district to see the Jewish synagogues and cemetery, and learn about the history of the area. Make your way next to Wolnica Square, home to the gothic Corpus Christi Church.

From Kazimierz, return to the Old Town. Your tour will end beneath Wawel Castle, the royal residence of Polish princes and kings since the 10th century. If you are interested in a visit to the Castle, choose the Wawel Castle option on this tour and you will be taken on a fascinating guided tour of this stunning building.
