Come with us for 5 hours to Terezin; the city which during Second World War served as a Jewish concentration camp. Founded in the late 18th century by Emperor Joseph II. as a fortress to protect The Kingdom of Bohemia. In 1940, the German Gestapo took control of the city and Terezín was turned into a Jewish ghetto. Those who are interested in history of Second World War and the Holocaust can visit with us the Small Fortress Terezín and museums in the Big Fortress.

      Fun night for tourists
This event was such a fun night! We were a bit cautious when we first arrived, but it didn’t take long for the skilled musicians and lively entertainers to pull us in. Plenty of food and drink kept us going all night.

The Best of Prague tour is worthwhile
The guide took us to the significant buildings and monuments. He explained, in detail, the history and architecture. Well worth taking this tour as it gives one an overview of the city.

It was okay, not our thing
We booked this event through our cruise line. The bus took about 20 minutes to get there and we were quickly seated at long tables. (crowded) I would say the room held 100 people. The meal was quickly set out, and was plentiful. Beer and wine included, and they were not stingy with the pours. However, two of us do not drink alcohol. The meal was a Czech dinner. Our friends agreed with us that it was ok, the musicians and dancers were talented. The first half of the show was good and then it got hokey and dragged on. I think we could have had a nice dinner in Prague for less. I would give it a 3.5 if I could.

      Most enjoyable.
We travelled with two Italian women and Martin was our guide and bus driver. He picked us up at our hotel and was very informative and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Ceske Krumlov and the company.

      Look Elsewhere
Disinterested tour guide couldn't be bothered with honoring the contract and dropping us off at our hotel. He said it was too far (15 minutes from where we were dropped off). Earlier, when he told me it was too far for him to drop me off, I mentioned that it would affect his tip. He said he didn't care. About sums it all up.

      Kind of disappointment
Martin was my Guaide very sweet man, it seems that I was the only one who signed up so he took me by myself more like a taxi Tour even though he was walking with me and was very nice to talk to him and here’s some stories about the place but that was it. I wasn’t offered any lunch, I was walking around with him and without him bought my own lunch and then we had back that wasit.

Cesky Krumlov - Worthwhile Day Trip !!
We scheduled this day trip after being cancelled the last minute by a different tour company (Bohemia Walks - stay away from this company) Our hotel did a great job arranging and had the driver pick us up right at the hotel - added bonus. Martin was our driver/guide and did a nice job. The day was well paced and Cesky Krumlov is a great destination. Martin took us to a good restaurant by the river and sat with us for lunch. The tour concluded with a guided tour of the Castle by a fabulous young lady. At the end Martin was right there to escort us back to the van. There were only three of us and Martin was a pleasure to be with us and provided much useful information in route and at Cesky .... THANKS

Had to find our own way back
Tour started off great lovely guide very knowledgeable however half way around started to get a little rushed but the main problem was the tour ended just before you go over charles bridge and we were told we would have to make our own way back to hotel .the brochure said over charles bridge then into the astronomical clock then drop of back at wenceslas which was close to our hotel we felt stranded as we had to make our own way back costing extra expenses for taxi .

It was nice, not worth the money
It was a nice boat ride, well organized and the staff is very friendly. The dinner isn't worth it. The food was average. We bought it as dinner but it was more a snack. We still had to pay for drinks. If you sit in the back of the boat you will be bombarded with bugs as soon as the sun goes down. So bad we had to move to another part of the boat. Overall the staff was very friendly and the scenery was pretty. We really enjoyed it irrespective.

      Pass by this company
Seems I will just be repeating things people have been mentioning for at least 2 years so why bother, as apparently the company doesn't really care. This includes rushing through the stops, no time for photos, not being told about what we see going through the city, guide rushing ahead, and I'm guessing we all stop at the same cafe for our 30 minutes. We were picked up at the hotel, which was great, but the driver complained the entire time about the company he works for and their poor management. I'd rather have learned about the sites we were passing. We got slowed by an accident enroute to Kutna Hora which resulted in us arriving about an hour late -- but not our fault. Don't cut out that hour on my time that I paid for. The driver should not have a license, let alone be allowed to transport others. Many of us complained about his dangerous driving (which including being on the phone and writing notes on a pad while he drove) but were told "you got back alive so what's the problem?" When we were dropped back at the start point, we were told to walk toward 'that spire down there' and we'd be close to our hotels. Seriously? How many spires are in this city? Was grateful I still have less than 10% of my phone service back. Definitely recommend going to Kutna Hora but not with this company

Very good experience that we had as a couple. Our driver picked us up in front of our hotel. With us there were 2 other French people and a couple of Americans. The guide spoke French very well and the explanations were very clear. She had to do the 5-hour tour in both French and English so that everyone understood, so bravo to her.
We were able to do everything: the camp, the ghetto museum, the Madgebourg barracks and the crematorium. It may seem expensive at first but it's well worth the price, you have all the explanations about the camp, the history of the rooms and the life of the prisoners with lots of little anecdotes.

Terezin is well worth a visit but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend Best Tour. Five hours is not long enough to get the best out of a very poignant and informative memorial. We felt time at the museum was very rushed. The tour guide who traveled with us was very knowledgeable but I think we could have been allowed more freedom to explore the museums alone. The tour guide at the small fortress was frosty and seemed very disinterested in warming to her audience. One of the other women on the same tour described the visit as ‘trying to drink water out of a hose’ which I think was a very good analogy for the rushed visit. Please visit Terezin but book a longer tour

The tour was good, but I would have enjoyed a little more time. I also would have enjoyed more information about the city area of Terezin today. Our guide was ok. She walked away sometimes without notifying the group and we would find ourselves trying to figure out where she went. She would also start talking in a new location before everyone had made it in the room.

I do not recommend this tour operator! I purchased 5 tickets for a visit with an Italian guide, 59 euros each, but instead we discovered there that the guide was not from Ca best tour but was one of the Terezín guides and spoke Spanish! The tour of the camp therefore lasted 1 hour, then the tour operator guide who spoke English and Spanish took us to the museum, leaving us to visit freely. On the way back the air conditioning on the bus only worked for the driver and they did not take us back to the hotel where he had picked us up in the morning but to the florenc station

Very informative tour. We were collected from hotel and after around an hour spent picking up others we headed off to Terezin. The first stop was to the small fortress and cemetery which was very interesting and quite moving. Our guide Lenka spoke perfect English and was happy to answer any questions. The second part of the visit to the Jewish ghetto was a little disappointing as we only visited the museum and a quick drive around. However overall it was a good trip and we were dropped off in Prague old town at the end leaving the afternoon free.

The trip was very informative and interesting . We were picked up from outside our hotel on time and after the trip we were all dropped off in Wenceslas Square. Set off promptly and the whole experience lasted about 5 1/2 hours.

George our guide gave us lots of information and his English was good. We saw the citadel, ghetto, museums and a couple of the old Nazi propaganda films they had made about Terezin. Given lots of information about Prague’s history during the coach trip and we went round the citadel with a Terezin guide.

Thoroughly recommend a tour round this very important site.

I have given this tour 1 star.

The tour itself was very informative, but the driver and tour guide were very unprofessional.

The first stop was a museum. When my sister and I came down to the end of the exhibits, we discovered that our bus had left without us !

Clearly they didn't do a head count before departing.

I had to call our hotel in Prague for them to contact the tour company and get them to return for us.

They took an age to come back and the tour guide was angry with us. Luckily we did not miss much of the next stop the small fortress.

We were picked up from our hotel however we were dumped at the end of the tour in a seedy part of Prague and given no explanation of why we were not being delivered back to our hotel. Bus driver and tour guide were surly.

I would not recommend this tour company to anyone.

The tour was interesting and informative. It was great the tour offered pickup from the hotel in the morning and then dropped us off near a metro station close to the centre of town at the end of the tour. Our guide was very good giving lots of information about Prague and Czech Republic on the way to the Terezin memorial. The memorial is a sobering reminder of how much the Jews have suffered. Today, they need the world’s respect and compassion. They sure have mine.

What an amazing trip. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information about the Czech Republic on our journey to Terezin. We were lucky enough to have a very small group of only 4 people so this made it easy to talk to the guide and ask questions where necessary. I would totally recommend this trip!

Veronica was a lovely guide, great information given on the journey to Terezin. A local guide took over at the small fortress. He too was a great guide. My only criticism would be he paid no attention to the fact that people were struggling in the icy conditions. Someone could have been seriously hurt.
    Overall a very worthwhile experience
