Since I was travelling alone to Prague city for the very first time, I decided to treat myself to the Mozart Concert along with a balcony seat where I had the best view facing the entire stage. I certainly cannot complain about the view! The dinner was also nicely done and a good introduction to Czech cuisine. The waiters were extremely friendly and polite, which added a nice touch to the wonderful experience. The music and opera singing performances were excellent, and the ballroom's architecture and decor reflected the grand history of the old hotel building. Overall, it's certainly a worthwhile experience even though the price was a little bit on the high side. The private balcony seating would be most ideal for couples who wish to celebrate any special occasion, and who do not mind paying the premium price for a wonderful, unforgettable experience.

There are lots of places advertising live music around Prague, but I think this was unique. Thoroughly enjoyed it and completely met my expectations.
Easy to find, welcoming and all staff spoke English. The ballroom is a stunning gem. We opted to sit on a shared table with 6 others. My only disappointment was that we were at the back despite booking months in advance and our other guests booking on the day of the event. But it didn't matter really, you could see clearly as its a small ballroom, everyone is seated in a horseshoe round the table facing forward and we meet some lovely people from around the world.
A card with details of the performances gives you an idea of what each act is about if you are unfamiliar.
A professional performance with 5 strings and 2 professional opera singers all clearly enjoying the performance as much as us.
I had put it was my birthday, but they only sang to someone else infront of me. I wasn't expecting it, but as it asked the occasion , and it was a big one, I felt left out :)
Food was traditional but just average. Soup, beef and veg then strudel.
Definately recommend this as a good evening out.

The night started with about 12 people including myself waiting since 6:30 until 7:10 pm outside by the side door where you enter. The door was locked. I called the phone number for the provider and no one answered. The directions said the doors open at 6:30 and show starts at 7 pm. Finally 7:10 someone open the door and we we got down the young woman checking people in did not know the door was closed but was wondering where was half of the reservations.
Then they sat us in the back. Which is fine. However they had a group with a tour guide or travel agent in the 2 tables in front of the stage. The people sitting there covered the view of the musicians and the singers. If they would have moved the tables a little to each side, the people in the tables in the back would have had a much better view and those in front would as well.
The singers did come to our table and moved around during the different segments of the show, but the overall view was always partially blocked.
When I asked the same young woman, she told me they had paid more. Which has nothing to do with obstructing the view to the rest of us.
So they have to get better organized. Have someone at the entrance so we do not get frustrated trying to get in, and organize the floor plan so everyone, no matter what they paid, can enjoy the show.
The music selection was excellent, as well as the musicians and the magnificent tenor and soprano.
The ballroom is very beautiful.
The food was good.
Logistics was a nightmare.

First of all, let us thank you for visiting our event and enjoying the concert with our magnificent opera singers. We appreciate your taking time to sum up the experience you have taken with us.
It is correct, that the side entrance of the Grand Bohemia Hotel where the event takes place, opens its doors from 6.30pm and it was also always the case on the evening, since some guests were already inside, but due to technical issues our Event Manager did not realize that the doors got locked sometime in between and the rest of the visitors could not enter. We are really sorry it happened to you and that you had to wait outside. From now on we will check it more carefully, as we indeed care about our guests and we will make sure it does not happen again.
The category Table for 8 - the large shared table that you booked, is always located in the back of the hall no matter of how many guests are in the venue. The first row seats are a more expensive category and usually its set up does not block the view, but we understand that the position of the back tables could have been set a bit differently, so you could have had better view for the musicians. We will adjust that as well.

This was an incredible experience! Excellent performances by all members of the ensemble- we visited as a family including a child and a teenager, both of whom found the whole show fascinating.
The menu was very well prepared, as well.
Excellent service and assistance.

Well worth attending. The musicians were amazing, as was the singers. The wait staff was attentive and efficient. The venue is perfect as we felt like royalty seeing a concert while having a fabulous dinner in such an opulent setting. I would highly recommend attending.

What a wonderful experience! First of all, the ballroom is spectacular. Our meal was quite good, but what you are coming for is the atmosphere and the concert. As for the performance, great music from an energetic and very entertaining group of performers. There was lots of humor in addition to beautiful music. What's not to like?

It was a wonderful evening. The ambience was designed in a rococo style. You could really put yourself in the time. The waiters were all very polite, could speak Czech as well as English and you could see their professionalism. As for the musicians and singers, I can only thank them for the spectacle that entertained the entire audience.

We attended the Mozart Dinner in September. It was a wonderful evening including a three-course menu that was very tasty! The opera performance was led by two Czech opera singers accompanied by five musicians, who all played very harmoniously with each other. I am impressed by what this establishment can offer. It is definitely worth a visit there and a MUST when coming to Prague.

Absolutely stunning evening. Enjoyed the travelling back in time - coats collected at door, welcome drink. Beautiful music, most beautiful ballroom I have ever seen. What really was noticeable was the fact that the orchestra and main performers seemed like they also enjoyed the evening. Money well spend and please attend if you are in Prague, truly recommend this event.

There was one table in the first row who was alone at a table for two.
Otherwise you’ll be at a big 8 persons table. Of course you can easily chat with the rest of the table when you are eating between each 3 parts of the show. When we went the audience was very international so people were discussing in English. In fact, we even discussed from one table to the other and helped each other to take couples photos, so don’t worry! 😉
