What to Expect

Armed with your skip-the-line admission ticket, you'll avoid the long lines in Prague Castle and visit the many highlights in the 9th-century complex without a wait. Bypass the crowds to visit the grand St. Vitus Cathedral and admire the stained glass windows. Stop by the 12th-century Old Royal Palace, the seat of Bohemian kings.

Explore St. George's Basilica, with its distinct red exterior and various architectural styles. Continue on to the Golden Lane, with small houses in bright colors that historically housed guards, goldsmiths, and writers. Make sure to see Daliborka Tower, a former prison.

Your admission ticket is valid for two days, which allows you to create your own sightseeing schedule.

A must see in Prague

Prague castle is an interesting site to visit because parts of it are still in use by government offices, and other parts are more museum like. The architecture is fascinating and the history of the Czech Republic and its predecessors is told in bricks and...More

Great!

Wonderful and quick overview / orientation of the castle grounds, key things to see and do, and the most efficient order to see things while minimizing waits in lines.

Worth a visit

Not a castle as I think of a castle but well worth a visit. Views over Prague are spectacular. Bit of a climb up to it if you decide to walk up to it!!! Little shops on Golden Lane are quaint.

Waste of money

It was difficult to find the guide. When we did she spoke very poor English. Lines were still huge to get in anywhere. We ended up giving our tickets away to strangers.

The queues are not to buy tickets, they are for the security check-point/bag search, which - for obvious reasons - cannot be "skipped".
