    A day of silence...
This was such a strange day. First of all, from the pictures you would think this is a group tour - I had been looking forward to this as group tours has been difficult for me to find here. Turns out I was the only one. A guy came to pick me up. He just said hi and then not a sound from him in over half an hour. I thought he was just a guy taking me to the real tour. After almost an hour I realized this WAS the tour and the guy was my guide! I think this has to be the most silent tour ever. For 5 hours the guide said like 5 short sentences to me. Otherwise completely silence. I never knew what was going on or where we were going to. Also, a tea factory tour wasn't included in this tour like it is from other providers of similar tours. That was a little disappointing. The surroundings were great though. Just such a weird silent day. Could easily just have hired a local guy to drive me around instead.

    Great tour
Exhilarating tuk tuk ride up a mountain, fantastic views and a real sight of daily life on the tree plantation. Dean (I'm sure that's his working name) is an excellent driver and made the day a fun time. Recommended tour

    Great experience
This was a very interesting and informative activity - it provided a real understanding of the tea industry and life for the people. The guide was informative and helpful, we chugged around the hills and plantations for about five hours finishing with a tour of the oldest tea factory. Well worth it.

    The Bucket list Sri Lanka
To be honest i have done almost all the activities and those are perfectly matching for those who wish to do the trekkings in Sri Lanka. The staff is really concentrate on the security and they are professionals of mountain range of Ella, Haputale and Ohiya. Don't think twice to do the excursions with Mr Deen, he's veteran trekker in Sri Lanka.

    Our best two days
We totally enjoyed our two treks. The first was through four different tea plantations. The scenery was beautiful and our guide was very good. I really liked that the treks were just the two of us and our guide. The second trek was through different villages in Bandarawela. We met many different people along the way it was a real cultural experience. We had a wonderful guide and were invited into her home for tea. When our trek was finished we had a wonderful lunch prepared by Deen’s wife. Both treks were non touristic; it was exactly what I was looking forward. I highly recommend this experience!

    Superb Trekking, highly recommended
For the second time I did a trekking tour through the highland of Sri Lanka that was organized by Deen for our small group. The highland of Sri Lanka is a unique opportunity for trekking through a beautiful landscape with impressive sights. But you need a guide, as there are neither signposts nor maps to find the direction on your own. The organization was perfect, guides and drivers were well selected and very knowledgable. A unique opportunity in Sri Lanka, highly recommended!

    Family adventure in tea country
We did a 3 day trek through tea country, small villages and rainforest with our guide Hafeel. Very experienced guides taking you to places off the beaten track. It was a really special time in Sri Lanka. Really nice family home and we loved spending time with the family here - Mishra’s food is amazing!

    Well organized and friendly guides
We did two Trips with guides of Deen. They are certified and very courteously. Most of them speak English and explain everything if you like.

    Relaxed and Friendly
1 night stay at Dean's oasis in Banderawela was terrific. His daughter Mishra cooked a delicious dinner (many vegetarian options) and involved the guests in the process with an impromptu cooking class. We had done a cooking class in Galle and this was much better. Mishra's English was great and she was more relaxed. They even dressed my wife in a Sari. The accommodation was basic but clean and quiet. I think this would be great base from which to explore the area.
