Great venues, wonderful tour guide and an overall fun day. It was my husband and I and other mixed groups that all got along fabulously. Special thanks to Taryn for all of your help with our booking. Would definitely recommend!Written 21 January 2025
- Jill B0 contributionsA terrific opportunity to see and taste the Swan ValleyThis trip was generous in every way…..food, drink, information and the opportunity to experience the Swan Valley. - christineg8890 contributionsFantastic TourThis was a last-minute booking and the only one we could get for a Monday so wasn't expecting much. But i am glad we picked this tour. Wes our driver was lovely, and we were picked up right on time and the bus took us to 4 different wineries, chocolate factory and a brewery. We had about 16 on the tour of different ages and nationalities. The choice for the wineries was great using the bigger vineyards for a change. Staff were very knowledgeable and explained a lot. Lunch was lovely and we came home with loads of goodies. Would definitely recommend the tour to anyone.Written 14 January 2025
- linseyjohale0 contributionsHalf Day Wine Tour - Swan ValleyFirstly, would like to give a shout out to Taryn in the office who was extremely helpful with booking myself and my partner on to this tour. The half day tour was actually perfect for us and with a convenient 12.20pm City pick up - coming from NOR, it gave us plenty of time to get to the City, grab some lunch and then head on tour. 2nd thanks has to go to our amazing tour guide - Wes. Not only very knowledgeable on the area but went above and beyond on our tour when one of the passengers left their phone at one of the stops. He dropped us off at the next location and then took the passenger back to the previous location to pick up phone. This was so not to cause disruption to the rest of the tour for the remaining passengers. The locations we stopped at were: - Nikola Estate: A very nice location with a stunning little chapel located on the grounds. The lady doing our tastings was knowledgeable and spoke to each little group individually. There was no hard selling however, could have been useful instead to speak to the whole group as a whole and mention prices/specials in place etc. - Mandoon Estate: A very popular winery and was busier than Nikola Estate but the team here had everything set up ready for us. The ladies doing our tastings were very welcoming and knowledgeable. - Lancaster Wines: This was the last winery on our tour. Everything was set up outside ready for us along with crackers and a lovely selection of cheeses. It may have been useful to have the cheese divided up onto two plates - as due to our large group, it was quite cramped. The guy doing our tastings was very accommodating and permitted us to also request wines that we would like to try. There was some delay with getting samples as some of the tour group stood at the bar and monopolised the guys time with getting samples which delayed him coming out to the rest of the group - who were around the outside table as requested. The moscato and dessert wine was a definite fave at this location and they offered us discounted prices to purchase which was an added bonus. - Margaret River Choc Factory: always a favourite and the sample chocs went down really well. - Providore: Located next to the chocolate factory. Here we sampled 4 x chocolate liqueurs which were divine. - Duckstein Brewery: Sampled their lovely Mango Champagne - which was so yummy, I had to get another glass! Accompanied with hot chips - a real treat. A++Written 13 January 2025

- 553s2fbfcc456533446b0 contributionsCheersExcellent tour throughout. From the moment Wes picked our group up, to final drop off, everything was more than anticipated. 3 vineyards visited with between 5 and 7 tastings at each, a visit to a chocolate liquor outlet with 6 further tastings finishing at a bar with a beer or cider. Wes was a perfect host throughout, adding to the enjoyment of the tour.Written 18 December 2024

- jr21030 contributionsworst tour I have ever been onThis wine tour was the worst tour I have done and I do at least 2 a year the driver was sullen and boring and no energy. I asked if he would mind dropping us off at Sandalford as we had an event there and he dropped us at the entrance making us walk under the influence in the heat form 1 km when in all honesty it would have taken him 2 mins to drive out of his wayWritten 9 December 2024

Great day out in the Swan Valley to celebrate a friend's special Birthday with our private group of 12.
Perfectly mild weather for our day long trip, starting at Elizabeth Quay before we headed off to our first tasting location, Windy Creek Estate.
A beautiful family owned winery, where we enjoyed generous tastings with cheese & crackers.
Onto Mandoon Estate for tastings & lunch.
I did feel this winery was less personal for our group being so large & a very limited & short tasting session.
The facilities are very new & modern with expansive gardens so if you're chasing that type of venue then Mandoon Estate is for you.
Olive Farm Wines was our next stop & we found this smaller establishment to be much more suited to our needs.
Finally onto our last stop being Old Young's Distillery, a very informative tasting session & lots of fun.
Big thanks to our terrific driver, Otto who was particularly patient & entertaining with our group.
Highly recommend d'Vine Wine Tours & their efficient staff members who did a great job of making our celebration a great day out.

Rocket Rod our consummate coachman whisked our diverse group seamlessly in and around the lovely Swan valley as we savoured some very fine wines. Rod provided a snapshot of the local history and development of the wine industry on route to our first rustic celler door at Lancaster wines. After some nice wines and sampling a few local cheeses we were off to the more up market Mandoon for a taste of their offerings before an enjoyable lunch. We popped over to nearby Sandalwood and again treated to a broad range of their Swan and Margaret river wines.
The experience didn't stop with the wine and a short visit to the nearby chocolateir was well received and like the Borg - 'resistance was futile' to indulging in the varied selection. Needless to say most bags left a little heavier and wallets or cards a little lighter.
Our last port of call was Duckstein brewery and we were all able to enjoy some liquid refreshment and a few hot chips in the Biergarten.
Great day trip I'm sure thoroughly enjoyed by all on board and a lovely bunch of travellers from far and wide.
Highly recommended.

Highly recommend d’vine swan valley wine tour. Rod was great, very knowledgeable & shared really interesting history of the area and wines. Perth CBD pickup was great, was able to use the free red line bus to get from hotel to CBD easily. I found the selection of venues to really have a variety so that everyone’s pallets were met, although my preference is the smaller lesser known vines. You really can’t beat the price for the full day tour which included safely shuttling us to swan valley/back and then to 3 vineyards the 1st included a nice cheese platter and some of the best wines (we literally liked every single tasting at this venue which was a first), a cider/brewery & chocolate factory as well as a sit down lunch which included a full glass of wine / beer. We had some extra time in our tour since it was a smaller crew and popped over to the chocolate liquor shop next door.. Really nice shop and came home with more than just wine!I found the Itinerary to be well thought out and smooth, we didn’t feel rushed or like we were lingering too long, really quite the perfect day and of course Rod kept us safe & entertained. We would absolutely use d’vine again in the future!

Was a lovely experience, and Matt was an excellent driver and guide. We went on a Monday, so most places were fairly quiet, which made it better because they had time to talk to us about the wines. I especially enjoyed that it wasn’t just wineries, but also chocolate, and a brewery. Only downfall was leaving my hat behind on the bus!

My husband & I took the full day Food & Wine Tour and had an amazing day. Our guide Tracey was an absolute delight, we were picked up from our collection point at the Crown Casino right on time, she was pleasant, funny, engaging and informative. She was absolutely lovely and treated everyone with respect. We were taken to Wineries, Breweries, a chocolate factory and other establishments as promised and a generous lunch was included. It was a very fun and relaxing day and there was no rush, we met some great people and had a lovely time and I highly recommend this tour if you are in Perth. The booking process for this tour is also very quick and simple and confirmation is received instantly via QR code on your phone. The price is also very reasonable for everything that is included.

As described on the description of the tour we visited 3 wineries and a microbrewery. All wines we tested were a premium grade with the one exception...we all bought it. After coming back home to Canada I tasted it with my b-in law who is a sommelier and confirmed that it was exceptional. The tour guide and same time a driver Tracy was an icing on the cake 🎂 . She made the ride on the tour van (we were a small group of 5) and between wineries very enjoyable with conversations and nice small talks

Great wine tour in the Swan Valley. Thanks to @DutchiesTravel and @Roo_Lindsey for the booking. Just a short 30 minute drive out of Perth we visited 3 wineries with 5-6 tasting at each plus a chocolatier and brewery.
First winery was Nikola where we enjoyed cheese, crackers, olives and hummus with our wines. Followed by a short drive to Mandoon Estate. 6 wines followed by a great generously portioned lunch (included in the price). Did feel that the tasting here was just a little rushed. Both Nikola and Mandoon had good selection of wine related goods to purchase.
Last winery was Lancaster, more rustic but a great vibe.
Next stop The Margaret River Chocolate Co with free samples (and plenty to buy!) and then tasting of 4 Sambarino chocolate liqueurs. Final stop was Duckstein Brewery with a choice of wine, beer or soft drink and fries (hot chips).
Overall an approx 6 hour tour and certainly well fed and watered.
Big shout out to our guide / driver Wes who was excellent throughout.

The tour is great from start to finish. Our driver and tour guide, Wes was helpful, cheerful and professional. The tour started on time with a couple of pickups before heading to Swan Valley, our first stop at Lancaster Wines. Plenty of tastings with a cheese board. Wes took our orders here for lunch from a menu with your drink of choice.
Mandoon Estate was next on the list with a few more tastings followed by our preordered lunch and drinks at Homestead Brewery.
A short drive to Sandalford Estate for more tastings. Then on to the Margaret River Chocolate Co for tastings of their beautiful assortments. Next door is Coward & Black Vineyards, Sambarina Chocolate Liquor and Margaret River Olives. They have an array of different condiments for tastings and gift ideas.
From there we headed to Duckstein Brewery where we were given a token each for a drink of choice plus hot chips supplied. There was also live music playing in the beer garden.
There was ample time to spend at each venue.
We were dropped off at our original pick-up points on the way home.
A great day was enjoyed by all

The tour took us through 3 wineries and 1 brewery, lunch and a chocolate tasting. Overall, the tour provides an excellent value for a fun day out, tasting some wine and meeting new people. I really enjoyed the conversation with the people I met, and with one particular server who was interested in sharing information about the winery. Overall, I highly recommend the tour.
The wines served at the wineries were average, nothing really stood out. Some wineries had more premium wines, but those were not part of our tasting. If I could give a recommendation to the tour operator it would be to exchange the chocolate tasting and the brewery for the premium tastings in a more private setting where we could learn more about the wines from Swan valley and taste a better product worthy of the region.

Hi Tony, no, not at all. Maybe 3 steps at one winery (where lunch was provided) and another 3 or 4 at the beer brewery. The minibus pulled up right outside each place. In a couple of places the talks were delivered to the group standing up, but there was seating available (but out of ear shot). I strongly recommend contacting D'Vine by email with your concerns as they are a family run company and very responsive and customer-focused.
