Maeve is enthusiastic and knows many interesting tidbits of Melbournes . While walking to many interesting parts of the city to see historic sites we greatly enjoyed Maeve’s inside stories less known and her sincere love of her homeland .

Excellent introduction to Melbourne. I’ve visited before but not spent time wandering around the City. Ondrej showed us lots of places I wouldn’t have found. The National Gallery was interesting. We know lots of places/areas where we can go for dinner.

I did a tour with Cristiano and his son and daughter. We went to the most important sights of Melbourne: Yarra river. Federation Square, Flinders station, Hosier lane and its street art then we took the tram to The parliament before ending the tour at Carlton , the Italian neighboorhood.

Maeve was amazing. Great communication, thoughtful, and extremely knowledgeable about the city of Melbourne both past and present. I told her she should have been a historian. Consummate professional. I would recommend her to anyone visiting the city.

Ondrej did a great job showing us the highlights of Melbourne. He showed us key locations representing culture, art, history, sports, and dining options. He’s very knowledgeable of the evolution of Melbourne and current events. His experience as a professional journalist was really helpful. Highly recommend him!!

Emma took us on a three hour walking tour in Melbourne commercial district. She met us at our hotel. She was very pleasant and friendly. She maintained a comfortable pace. She was well informed and flexible.

We had a very pleasant time exploring Melbourne City with my guide, Moji. She was very smiling and kind. She took many my family photos in front of various tourist spots. She asked us questions about what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go, and she got it done quickly. She took us to various places such as Melbourne's back streets, casinos, historical sites, and markets. At the market, I had the pleasure of purchasing a painting depicting Melbourne's landmarks with her. She found me a nice painting shop. I would like to thank her for making the most of her effort for our sightseeing within the limited time of 4 hours.

Vini was very involded in her guide's job. She has a great knowledge of the city she loves. It was great to discover Melbourne with her at night.

My husband and I recently did a full day tour with Sebastien as our guide. This was the first "private" tour we have done and it won't be the last! I was able to send Sebastien a 2 page list of places we were interested in seeing - he was then able to work up a tentative route ahead of time. We ticked every item but one off the list!! We did a lot of walking, heard a lot of interesting historical facts and stories and got several suggestions of other interesting places to visit in Melbourne. I would take another tour with City Unscripted again!

Our guide met us at the port. Guided us into the city.then took us on a 3 hr tour slow and easy as he gave us wonderful insights into Melbourne. We really learned a lot and had plenty of time.

Chris was a great guide - he showed us around the city center for more than 3 hours and was very engaging. Would recommend!

First there was major confusion about where we were meeting even though we were going to the location of our TripAdvisor confirmation. Next our tour guide was French and had only lived in Melbourne for 2 years. He had a heavy French accent that was very hard to understand at times. He kept asking us questions about Melbourne and wanting us to guess the answer? He was obsessed with getting us our card for the tram even though we told him repeatedly that we would take care of it ourselves. We ended the tour an hour early.

Chris, our guide, is extremely knowledgeable on history, culture as well as a variety of topics. He is a great listener and helped us define our general ideas of what we wanted to see. We learned so much-he is a great storyteller and provided so many facts and information on what we were seeing. We feel like we saw the highlights of Melbourne. We definitely recommend Chris and will be sure to use him again on a return trip.

I find that a day 1 tour of a new city helps you orient yourself and feel more comfortable for the rest of the trip, as well as plan better what things you want to see and when. On this one we made a well planned loop of the central city, helping me understand it better both in terms of layout and culture. BTW, if you are visiting Melbourne, go see the Old Gaol. It's a cooler museum than it sounds like. Also, the town makes surprisingly high quality chocolate.
