Soak up a spectacular aerial view of Melbourne with a visit to Eureka Skydeck 88 — the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere. Admire the watery expanse of Port Phillip Bay and the rolling Dandenong Ranges in the distance. Even the other skyscrapers of Melbourne’s business district will seem miniature from this incredible vantage point. Thrill-seekers can upgrade to experience ‘The Edge’— a moving, glass-bottomed cube that lets you hover over the city streets 88 floors below.
What to Expect
To access the Eureka Skydeck 88, hang on as the fastest elevator trip in the Southern Hemisphere whisks you up 88 floors in less than 40 seconds. Once you enter the Skydeck, take in breathtaking, 360-degree views of Melbourne through floor-to-ceiling windows. Spot your favorite Melbourne attractions through one of many free viewfinders.
Step outside onto the open-air terrace, where you can feel the rush of wind and make use of high-powered binoculars. From a height of nearly 975 feet (300 meters), you can see the blue expanse of Port Phillip Bay and, on a clear day, as far as the Dandenong Ranges.
For the ultimate Eureka Skydeck experience, upgrade your ticket to include ‘The Edge.’ Step inside a secure glass cube that slowly projects 10 feet (3 meters) straight out from the side of the building, and feel the thrilling sensation of being suspended in the air.

Could see out over all Melbourne including Flemington, MCG, the whole city and even over the bay. Breathtaking! There’s a gift shop downstairs and a small cafe while you’re up there including someone selling photo-shopped photos. The “edge experience”, we didn’t try, but you can...More

There is a great view of Melbourne from here. However it's rather expensive. Basically you get an elevator ride, then get to walk around and look out the windows. You can go out on the plexiglass floor, for an additional charge. We opted not to.

The Edge is probably overated it is a part of the building that juts out over the main part. Obviously you only see one direction and I thought the views from the main deck were more than enough. There are special offers on... More
