If you love animals this place is a must, and to think I almost didn't go. It was the highlight of my Australian tour. I went to both the daytime visit and the night time visit. The daytime visit allows you to feed the numerous kangaroos, some with joeys in their pouches.

we took a day drip from our cruise ship and booked through tourism hobart. pretty cool little park run fully by volunteers and donations they do an amazing job. its great to do the guided tour as you will learn alot about these beautiful animals who many are rescue and released
