McLaren Vale and Glenelg Tour with Wine Tastings from Adelaide
From US$ 49.82
A wine-tasting adventure in South Australia’s popular McLaren Vale region is better when you don’t have to worry about driving. Let someone else take care of logistics while you visit two wineries, enjoy some free time in town, and stop at the beach town of Glenelg for a walk along Gulf St. Vincent on the way back to Adelaide.
What to Expect
Your wine tour begins with pickup from Victoria Square, where you meet your group and guide and board a minibus for the roughly 45-minute drive to McLaren Vale.
The first stop is Rosemount Estate, where you enjoy a wine-tasting session with views of the vineyard-covered hills.
Then, move to Lloyd Brothers Wine and Olive Company, where you sample local Shiraz and learn about the history of the family-owned business. After the tasting, browse the olive oil, wine, and beauty products in the gift shop.
Next, explore McLaren’s Main Street independently. Stop at local candy shops, cafes, or a heritage winery.
Hop back on the minibus and head for seaside Glenelg. Stop there and take a walk along the shore before heading back to Adelaide for a drop-off at your hotel. Alternately, stay in town longer and take the 20-minute tram back to Adelaide (own expense).

Great tour; great wine

The half-day tour was a real treat. Not only did I taste excellent wines, but also learned a lot about South Australia from our most knowledgeable guide.
