      Little time for decent cost.
First time to Adelaide and thought I’d go see the Adelaide Hills and Hahndorf so this seemed the perfect choice. Bus was prompt and driver very knowledgeable. Afternoon tea was included in price. Left Adelaide at 1pm. 20 minutes at Mt Lofty 20 minutes at Beerenberg factory (Jams/preserves) Arrived at Hahndorf about 2:30 and proceeded to the Afternoon tea. After waiting an hour for a cup of tea and a piece of strudel, I was left with 1/2 hour to explore the town before having to return to bus by 4:10pm. Back in Adelaide by 4:40pm. No faults with driver but $95 for what was effectively less than 1.5 hour tour.

      Old world charm of Hahndorf
Hahndorf is a must visit when visiting Adelaide, it's old world charm and European vibe is fantastic nestled in the Adelaide Hills, highly recommended !

      Two tours in one
This tour is two tours in one. In the morning we were given a good overview of central Adelaide. This included a visit to the National Wine Museum and St. Peter's Cathedral. After lunch, we visited the market, the tour took us to Hahndorf. On the way we visited Mount Lofty summit and Beerenberg farm. In Hahndorf we had plenty of time to look around and partake in the beer tasting. Our guide/driver Peter was very welcoming and knowledgeable

Best way see Adelaide and the countryside.
If you only have 24 hours or 5 days in this city this is the trip for you. Get a great taste of the city, beautiful northern suburbs, botanical gardens, stunning churches, lush mountains and Hahndorf. Taste great wines and beer without needing to go to 10 wineries. Bus driver Peter gave excellent comentary from his extensive knowledge while driving so smoothly and safely in the modern coach. A phonecall was all that was needed to organise a hotel pickup.

A try to know the city
The tour went by a big bus around the highlights of the city. The stories were helpful for understanding the city. However, staying the wine centre too long for those did not love wine tasting. The price did not match the value.

Can highly recommend this trip on the mighty Murray River. I thought I'd be bored, but not at all. Great on shore excursions learning about the history of the river and paddle steamers. Staff were amazing, nothing was a problem. Food was fantastic, buffet brekkies, 2 course lunches or ploughman's lunch, 3 course dinners. Alcohol at very reasonable prices with happy hour daily 20% off 5-6pm, wine/beer specials every lunch time with 20% off. Cabins a bit small but you don't spend much time in them. Great hot water showers. And of course, the spectacular scenery as you cruise along this enormous river.

      A peaceful Aussie experience
A lovely day out. Very peaceful. Trip down the Murray on a paddle steamer was really good, Shame it couldn't be just a bit longer. Food on the boat was 1st class. Super tasty. After the cruise we got free time in the town of Mannum but it was probably too long, very quiet town with not alpt to see (museum closed due to flooding earlier this year) On the way back we stopped at Melbas chocolate factory and there was a cheese place next door but it was closing. Our driver, Michael, was fantastic. We felt very safe, and he was full of local information. I would highly recommend this day trip.

Good introduction to Adelaide and Hahndorf
This tour is actually two half day tours combined with about an hour's break for lunch. In the morning, we visited the sights of Adelaide, including stops at the National Wine Centre, St. Peter's Cathedral, and Light's Vision. In the afternoon, we went to the Mt. Lofty summit and then spent a few hours in Hahndorf. Tea and apfel strudel or beer tasting at the Hahndorf Inn was included. That was delicious. We could wander along the streets of Hahndorf and soak in the German atmosphere. I would recommend this tour to those who are either visiting for the first time or need a refresher of the main sights.

      Great experience
Great experience. Would be nice to stop at a couple of the small towns on the way to Hahndorf. Also would be good to have a little more time so not rushing at Hahndorf.

      Disappointing tour experience
We wished we had hired a car and driven ourselves. We were astonished and dismayed that the tour guide/driver made no acknowledgement of the first nation people at any time during the tour. To listen to the commentary, the " history " of Adelaide started with the arrival of European and English explorers. Be aware also that you do not need to be on time for your tour as they ask, they will keep those passengers who arrive on time ( like us ), waiting for more than 15 minutes.

      Day in the Barossa
Roger gave us a very interesting commentary as we drowe through the countryside to Barossa. Disappointed with the wines at Jacobs Creek. Hard to understand the Asian person telling us about Jacobs Creek. Tour of susrrounding vines was a walk outside the centre to a few rows of vines. Nice lunch at the 2nd winery. - only 2 places for wine tasting. Trip to Hahndorf village for an hour. Not enough time for this place. Lots of interesting shops and buildings. Enjoyed our McLaren Vale wine tasting tour much more. than the Barossa one.

Day trip to the Murray River
Roger our driver gave a lot of information as we drove to Mannon and then onto the Proud Mary. Given morning tea and virtually straight into lunch. It was a nice meal but portions were't very big. Had a chance to see birds on the river. Didn't go far really as only a 2 hr trip while the longer cruise people were ashore at Mannon. It was a very cold wind. We had time to walk around Mannon but found anything interesting was closed. It was quite dead really. Area had suffered from the earlier floods. Stopped at Chocolate and Cheese factories . No demonstrations or tastings - just buying . An interesting drive through the countryside but not an exciting day.

We arranged our trip through Sealink. Jeff our driver and tour guide had a great knowledge of the local history of the areas we drove through as well as the wineries which is sadly more than can be said for the actual wineries. The timings were spot on and very well organised.

We stopped off at Pindari, Lambert and finally at Barossa Valley Chocolate. Our first stop was in a stunning location. The tasting of 6 wines, average a bottle $25, was disappointing. There was no direction on how best to taste, how to swirl or hold in the mouth - no technique given at all just ‘here you go try this - it’s good with fish’ etc, oh and a little about the colour! We visited Tanunda for a brief look around the shops as Maggie Beer Farm was not able to accommodate us on this day. It was then we moved onto Lambert for lunch and more tastings and the lunch was exquisite. Shame the same could not be said for the wine. Again no guide as to best ways to taste or why some wines were $700 a bottle and what made them this price! However yet again on the four we were offered to taste the max price was $30 a bottle! Our final stop off was at the Barossa Valley Chocolate and we were excited to hear how we could taste wine with chocolate. Sadly we experienced yet again a disappointing experience - the ‘expert’ offered 3 tasters with no explanation of the connection of wine with chocolate. There were many missed opportunities by all three establishments to gain our business! No one in our group purchased anything!

Everyone generally understands you get what you pay for with wine the establishments. Could have quite easily pulled out more expensive bottles to show people the difference in quality which would have likely resulted in sales! On our trip all wines were cheap and not very nice!

The Tour Guide Roger was excellent. He had a great knowledge of Adelaide, the wine country and the history of the Barossa Valley.
For people coming from the USA, the Lambert winery had great wines, spectacular scenery and the owner Jim Lambert is from Wisconsin.
He has made built a great winery and the most tech improvements to the property
Great venue for weddings and special events
He goes out of the way to make you feel at home, the lunch is fantastic and the wines are great

My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic day on this tour. My husband doesn’t drink wine, so I wanted something that had wine tasting for me and a variety of food for him. This tour was perfect for this. Pindarie was my favourite winery, the presenter was so lovely and knowledgeable. The food at Lambert estate was fantastic and a large variety, plus they also catered to all dietary requirements. Finally, the chocolate and wine pairing was a perfect way to end the day.

The scenery was beautiful and the two wineries we visited had delicious wine and food with very knowledgeable and accommodating staff. Pindarie and Lamberts were both fantastic. Shame the bus driver was rude and that instead of the Maggie Beer farm we had a wasted stop with not a lot to do and nothing to taste. Last stop at the chocolate factory felt rushed as I think the bus driver was keen to knock off early. The staff at the chocolate factory were absolutely lovely.

A definite must do tour! Our tour guide, Allyson, made this day informative and fun right from the start. The venues we visited accommodated our group with ease and delivered very informative tastings. The beautiful Pindarie Estate was a stand out and a great way to start the day. Lunch at Lamberts was delicious and the visit to Maggie Beer’s and the Barossa Valley chocolate company tasting were both wonderful. Allyson’s information about the villages brought an extra dimension to the tour. So glad we decided on this tour rather than navigating our way through the region.

We really enjoyed this tour! The host at Pindarie was fabulous - obviously loves what she does! Lunch at Lamberts was absolutely delicious and the staff fantastic. Loved the lady at the chocolate shop - such a fun last stop. The only negative was the Bus Driver - spoke to us like we were children & made inappropriate comments about one of the young guests. Thankfully we had a great group of people and didn’t let it ruin our day.

The wineries and the chocolate store were fantastic! All the staff at these locations were friendly and enthusiastic.

I wish the same could be said for our bus driver Apple. He was rude when we returned to the bus late by just a few minutes and then made multiple negative comments about how this would effect our other stops. We were then dropped off in the CBD 15 minutes before the tour was supposed to finish which was frustrating as we had been rushed out of our final stop.

Very good day tour with Phil, our driver/guide & 26 other passengers. So not really a small group tour as advertised, but group size didn’t give any problems on the day.
1st stop was Pindarie winery, where we got a tasting of six wines from Wendy, the owner, followed by coffee & a brownie.
This was followed by a visit to Maggie Beers Farm Shop, which for us was the least interesting stop of the day, as being from the UK we had no idea who she was & she wasn’t there anyway, so for us it was just a visit to any farm shop.
Next was Lambert Estate, the highlight for us. Tasting of 3 wines + a chocolate port, together with a very good 2 course lunch. A quick stop at a lookout was followed by a stop at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, where we tried chocolate paired with 3 wines.
Overall we felt the balance of the day was very good & Phil provided a good, albeit non-stop(!) commentary.

A really great day! Our driver Athol was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny.
We visited 2 wineries and had terrific wine tastings, with a great lunch at 1 of them, plus a visit to the Penfolds cellar door for optional tasting, and finally a chocolate and wine matching experience.
This was wrapped in travel through the beautiful Barossa Valley, with great scenery and many historic points of interest.

    Well worth the price!
