we really wanted to hold a koala, which you can do here. The park is a bit small but well kept, and the prices are a bit high for the size of the park.

Thanks so much for your feedback. We note your comments regarding our price but emphasis that we are right in the middle of Kuranda and the cost of being in such a location with rent, council rates and other costs is very high. We also share in the costs of the free shuttle bus which provides transfers from the Skyail Rainforest Cableway and Kuranda Scenic Rail terminals. The costs of maintaining and caring for our animals is also significant so we believe we are very reasonable in our pricing structure and also remember that we including feeding shows in the afternoon which are complementary for our visitors.

No brainer for families with young kids - cuddle a koala, feed wallabies, see crocs and wombats. Kind of a small Aussie petting zoo, can be done in a couple hours without walking around all day and the staff look after the animals well. The town of Kuranda is nice as well and

We went to Koala World for one reason - to hold a koala. We were not disappointed. The line was well-organized and the ladies running the station were professionals. They matched the koalas with the patrons and made sure to protect the koalas. While they took professional

Your thoughtfulness in the time taken for this review is wonderful and we are grateful for your comments and information for fellow travellers. We have a larger attraction, Hartley's Crocodile Adventures 40 minute north for Cairns for those wishing to have a larger immersion area with wallabies and kangaroos. At Kuranda Koala Gardens, we offer the chance for our visitors to enjoy our Glider and Noctural House tour, plus our Wombat feeding presentations in the afternoons.
