    What to Expect
Choose from two options, the evening show only, or the full-day trip to Kuranda followed by the Night Fire show.

    Night Fire show:

After hotel pickup in Port Douglas in the early evening, travel south towards Cairns to reach Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park.

Begin in the Rainforest Canopy Breezeway with a welcome drink of sparkling wine and appetizers inspired by bush tucker foods. Next, have your face painted by indigenous Bama people from the rainforest and listen to the music of a didgeridoo.

For the sacred ritual called the corroboree, Tjapukai warriors lead you along a fire-lit path to a rain forest dance theater. Watch a celebration that highlights Aboriginal Dreamtime stories, followed by a lakeside fire ceremony that includes traditional songs and music.

Next up, enjoy a hot and cold buffet that includes fresh seafood, salads, and desserts, plus Australian meats such as kangaroo and crocodile cooked up on the grill.

End your evening at the campfire in the company of the Tjapukai warriors who take time to chat and pose for photo ops. Your tour ends with return transfer to your Port Douglas hotel.

Skyrail and Kuranda full-day option with Night Fire show:

Start with morning pickup in Port Douglas and transfer by bus, scenic train, or on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Upon arrival in Kuranda, your local guide shows you around the village, which is known for its arts and crafts markets.

Then head up the coast to Palm Cove. Stop at the palm-fringed esplanade and have free time to purchase refreshments, browse the shops and galleries, or walk on the beach. In the evening, your guide picks you up and transfers you to the Tjapukai Night Fire show, which proceeds as detailed above.
