Immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture with a visit to Tjapukai Park, “Where Australia Begins”.

This unique park brings one of the world’s oldest culture to life through traditional dance, art and interactive demonstrations such as boomerang throwing and playing the didgeridoo.

Choose between a morning or afternoon visit, each which include access to various talks, performances and activities including bush food and medicines presentations, a traditional bayngga oven demonstration (a.m.), hunting and weapons demonstrations, and Tjapukai dance performances.

A delicious buffet lunch (own expense) with its own choreographed stage show is offered daily.

A great afternoon

We have just completed the afternoon tour at Tjapukai. We learnt so much about the history of Australia and the aboriginal culture. Everyone should take this tour to fully understand how Australia was formed. The tour also contains dancing, boomerang throwing and spear throwing. Thanks...More

Cultural experience

We have just done the morning trip to Tjapukai and had a 2.5hour guided tour. Our tour guide was informative and kept us moving along. The theatre screen show was great as well as the dance performance. We would have liked to learn a bit...More

Very interesting day!

Me and my friend went here to learn about aboriginal culture in Australia, and it was such a fun and interesting day! Really enjoyed it! I would highly recommend this to people who have an interesting in learning about aboriginal culture.

Tjapukai truly is a great experience to learn about the cultures of Australia. The fact that it's only 30 mins from the CBD too makes it a good half-day outing! Thanks for reviewing:)

Fun Family Night!

You can’t com3 to Australia and not do this....it was a great experience...really enjoyed it..highlight of my trip so far

I'm SURE they will pick u up, but they'll CHARGE u quite a bit I think. I wasn't THAT far, and they charged us more than I feel was fair.

I think he might like it, but maybe he would be a little frightened. I really wouldn't advise bringing him.
