Kuranda Koala Gardens and Birdworld Admission Tickets
From US$ 23.46
Overview
Visit two of the most popular wildlife venues in the Cairns area with this combo admission to the Kuranda Koala Gardens and Birdworld. Aussie animals are renowned for various reasons—from adorable (koalas) to elusive (wombats). You’ll have the chance to see an array of wildlife. Some activities are an additional fee.
What to Expect
Your admission to Kuranda Koala Gardens introduces you to a variety of Australian animals, from freshwater crocodiles to kangaroos. See friendly wallabies, and get an up-close look at wombats, lazy and lovable creatures who aren’t often seen in the wild due to their shyness and burrowing habits. You also have the opportunity to see the rare Greater Bilby, the Northern Bettong, Mahogany Glider and more in the new ‘Nocturnal Wonders’ exhibit.

At the Koala Gardens, you’ll receive your ticket for Birdworld, so head there next to experience a huge flock of free-flying birds. Within walking distance of the Koala Gardens, Birdworld is home to large aviary that mimics a rainforest habitat, where more than 80 species of native birds, some rare, fly among the lush landscape and water features. See birds like parrots, lorikeets and bowerbirds, and look for cassowaries, rarely seen in the wild. You might also spot international visitors like South American macaws.

Lovely wildlife zoo

We visited Koala Gardens and had a lovely time. It was one of the better wildlife places we visited in Australia. You get the opportunity to hold a Koala which was fun!

Not sure koalas are treated properly..but I really wanted to hold one.

As an animal lover, I always have this dilemma where I'm not sure if I should go or support somewhere that doesn't treat animals properly. However, sometimes my desire to actually be up close and person, hold and touch it, takes over this fact and...More

Small

Visited as part of a combo ticket we had at Kuranda. Whilst only a small park compared to some others we had visited in Australia it was well maintained and the animals seemed quite happy. Fed the kangaroos and also got to see a few...More
