      What a wonderful experience...Great day
This tour was amazing from start to finish...We arrived late for our 10am cruise but it was no problem for them, they simply said "well now you're on the 11 o'clock" Once we got out on the water the crocs started to come around and it was fantastic watching them. Captain Sean was entertaining and very informative about crocs and the region and BRUTUS and DOMINATOR put on a great show. It was really a wonderful day, could not recommend this more highly...Adelaide River Cruises is the way to go, just make sure you check directions and leave enough time to get there.

Darwin is a place to visit whenever you have a moment
Darwin is an amazing city, where the people are relaxed, most of the time the weather is perfect, you can do a lots of outdoor activities except swimming on the beach where the crocodiles cruising. Most of the Darwin are friendly, and multicultural environment give you a colourful life style and yummy food with quite a variety of choices of cuisines. It's close to quite a few famous National Parks with beautiful environments and scenery.

This was a fantastic way to view crocodiles up close and learn more about them. Dylan was extremely knowledgeable and humorous. He made us feel very safe and always looked out to make sure no one was putting themselves in harms way. I highly recommend!!

      Exciting, educational & excellent
The one hour passed before a blink of an eye. Shaun was terrific - very informative, careful and responded to our many queries . We saw, fed, & interacted with Many crocodiles and also gave us an appreciation of the environment in which these dangerous species live. We were running 4 minutes late and the team were very understanding . Unfortunately the signage on the main road ( Anzac Circle) - there are signage of other Crocodile tours ( very similar in names) which are 7 km further ( if traveling from Darwin). Well done to Shaun and the team .

Amazing owner operated cruise experience. Small boat up close Croc adventure
It was great to do a small company owner operated tour with the actual owner sharing his love, passion and energy of all things Crocodiles. I cruised on 24/10/21 and was enthralled by Adam Bowman’s wit humour and effort to make sure everyone enjoyed the trip. The small boat with safety rails really allowed the close up action on the cruise. Information was great and photos opportunities abounded.

What an epic experience with our very knowlegable skipper Sean. Our cruise was very personal with only 7 people on the tour. We experienced at least a dozen hungry crocs enticed out of the water by Sean. 4 of those crocs were all BIG boys in the 5 to 6m size bracket. Dominator, Fang, Brutus and Goldy were the stars of the show. We were on the water for more than an hour and with the 1pm arvo cruise, all the crocs were super lively and active in the midday heat. For $45 pp and low crowd numbers on the boat, I would highly recommend over the other 2 tour operators.

Second time on this cruise and yet again an incredible experience. Nowhere in Australia gives you such a close up croc experience in the wild. Captain Adam on the 9am cruise had everyone literally on the edge of their seats as he fed multiple monster crocs! Thanks again, fantastic experience!

Just went on the cruise today and was very happy with the tour.

The drive in was well marked, although once off the main road, it did feel like we were driving in the middle of nowhere and it was a dirt road but was very well kept. The random signs along the way kept us thinking were on the right track (it was the only track).

The kiosk is simple (small selection of souvenirs and drinks) and the staff there are super friendly. There's toilets onsite.

As for the cruise, it's safe and they have safety equipment on board. The guide we had today seemed to have a unique bond with the crocs (Dominator & Brutus) and you get the sense they have lovely qualities about them and they really are amazing creatures (the crocs not the guide lol). We enjoyed the fact that the guide did his best for both side of the boat to have a good vantage point of the crocs jumping and also talked about other wildlife in the area.

We are so glad we went on this cruise, we were amazed by how many crocs we came past - it seemed like it may have been at least 10 -15 maybe even 20. Even felt a treat to get up near a crocs nest.

    Definitely worth going on.

Thanks team at Adelaide river cruises for making it a friendly experience. We loved it.

We booked for six people to go see the Jumping Crocodiles with Adelaide River Cruises while we were in Darwin over the June long weekend. We liked that the boats are smaller and so you can get up close with the huge crocodiles (we saw two 6 metre long crocodiles, including Brutus!). The team were extremely accommodating and friendly, we can't recommend this cruise enough, value for money, and we would happily do it again next time we're in Darwin! Big thank you to Sean and Karen!

Fantastic experience we had with Adam our jumping croc tour guide, Adam was so informative about all aspects of the croc world, one of the best croc locations you could ever choose. Adam was very entertaining while feeding the crocs and we were shown the two large crocs Dominator and Brutus, just a memorable experience of a life time.

You drive up via a dirt road arriving at a very "low impact" setting, which is shaded, cool and comfortable. Tables and chairs undercover in a relaxing setting. The staff are very friendly. The cruise is well handled with the skipper going through the safety, and then delivering a very knowledgeable speech about crocs. These people clearly know the crocs and are very fond of them. They can tell you much about the history of individual crocs, plus about the bird life, fauna and fish.

It is family orientated and really enjoyable. Seeing crocs this close up was simply amazing.

Wow! This one is amazing!!!! We have tried the others and this is The best of them all! Don’t be put off by the longer drive on the dirt road- it is worth it hands down!! Only 6 people in little boat we were right in the action

We wasted $35 on the “original jumping croc” and saw no big crocs what so ever. The other companies cruise was so brief only 25 minutes up the river with croc interaction while 35mins was spent driving back up the river with no croc interactions. we didn’t realise that’s because all the big crocs in the river including the 6.1m worlds biggest “Dominator” and the bull shark eating “Brutus” have the territory just in front of Adelaide river cruises! This cruise was FANTASTIC!!! We saw so many crocodiles big and small and HUGE. Sean the owner / guide is passionate, knowledgeable and inspired. We will come here again!

If you want to see the big ones, this is the ONLY one that has them

Thank you so much Sean, you have made our Darwin trip!!!

This review is more feedback than criticism. The tour could have been outstanding. The operator on our boat gave his initial briefing which included when to sit and when to stand. He explained that when a croc is on your side of the boat to remain sitting so as to provide a good view to those on the other side of the boat who could stand. For about 75% of the time people stood when the crocs were on their side of the boat. Hence peoples views and photo opportunities were very limited. I feel the tour operators could be more vigilant in giving everyone a fair go. Having said that, a great tour spoilt by the thoughtless.

lived in Darwin my whole life and ive been on every cruise. Captain Adam was awsome, he lives and breathes the river and the big Crocodiles did not disappoint. My 4 boys loved every second, we all felt safe and Crocodiles were right along the side of the boat. By far the best Crocodile Cruise Darwin has to offer. Thanks Adam!

Today (21st May) we went on the Adelaide River Jumping Croc Cruise. It is the one at the end of Anzac Parade. And what a special treat it was. The entire experience was fabulous. Even my husband who has travelled the Top End extensively and already done one of the other Jumping Croc cruises said this was simply excellent. At $45 per adult and $30 a child it is great value. Thank you to all staff.
