Overview
Fly above beautiful Uluru (Ayers Rock) on this helicopter tour from Ayers Rock Resort. Spot the massive sandstone monolith in the heart of the Northern Territory’s "Red Centre" and the Olgas rock domes in the distance. Your pilot picks you up from your hotel and provides onboard commentary while you fly. Upgrade for a flight that takes you directly over the Olgas.
What to Expect
Your Uluru helicopter flight begins with pickup from your hotel within Ayers Rock Resort.

Once you board the helicopter, set off skyward and fly over famous Uluru, or Ayers Rock. Don the headsets provided to hear the pilot clearly and listen to onboard commentary. Glide over the sandstone monolith, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Take advantage of the helicopter’s specially designed windows by taking photos of the Northern Territory from the sky.

If you choose the Kata Tjuta upgrade, fly further across the Northern Territory desert over the UNESCO-listed Kata Tjuta National Park to the Olgas. See the 36 dome-like rock formations making up Mt. Olga. With this upgrade, your helicopter ride is about a half-hour.

Relax on the journey back to the resort and land back on ground, where you can decide what to do next during your stay in the Northern Territory.

I don believe so, we were certainly not told if there was. When we were picked up, the pilot assessed us and then seated us a certain way so that the weight was evenly distributed. Hope this helps
