    What to Expect
Your guide will pick you up from your Ayers Rock Resort hotel in the early afternoon. Travel for approx. 45 minutes in an air-conditioned, comfortable 4WD vehicle across the central Australian desert to Mt Conner, located on Curtin Springs station. Look out for Australian wildlife such as red kangaroos, dingoes and wallabies on the way.

Once at Curtin Springs station, your off-road adventure begins! Drive past an inland salt lake and hear from your knowledgeable guide about European settlements and the history of this area. Drive around the back of Mt Conner and see how the landscape changes. After approx. 1.5 hours, you’ll arrive at the best spot to watch the sun set. Sip a glass of sparkling wine and keep your camera handy for that classic sunset picture. The desert and the enormous horse-shoe shaped mesa of Mt Conner glows with dramatic red, orange and violet shades of colour as the sun sets.

As night descends and the stars come out, head back to nearby Curtin Springs station for a delicious, authentic three course outback dinner. After dessert, your guide will return you to your Ayers Rock Resort hotel.

Good to be able to see a place we hadn't seen before and wouldn't have had access to. Love the small tour size. Gary was knowledgeable and made sure we all had a good experience. Food and conversation at Curtin Springs was great.

This tour is available from Yulara or Curtin Springs. We chose the pickup from Curtin Springs as this is where we were staying. Our whole experience with Seit was most professional. Thank you Mike for your very interesting commentary and anecdotes. We enjoyed the visit to the

The tour is basically a long drive in a packed van. The two guides spent more time taking pictures of each other than attending to passengers. You are taken out onto a rough old dirt road where the van drives at high rates of speed and you bounce up and down in the back. There

Rick is awesome. Very knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does. We did this tour that felt unlike any tourist experience ever, it was more like a mate showing us about the cattle station. Then to have the impressive Attila (Mount Connor) as the back drop to the day,
