    Visit: Alice Springs School of the Air Visitor Centre, Alice Springs School of Air 80 Head St, Alice Springs, Northern Territory 0870 Australia

    Visit Alice Springs School of the Air Visitor Centre at 80 Head St Braithling, Alice Springs Monday to Saturday between 8.30 and 4.30pm.  Last tour commences at 4.00pm.  Visit on Sundays and Public Holidays between 1.30pm and 4.30pm with the last tour commencing at 4.00pm.
    Our knowledgeable tour guides will take you on a journey from the beginning of School of the Air in 1951 through to the modern day where radios transmitted lessons have become internet based virtual classrooms for our students spread throughout the Northern Territory and beyond.  Spend as much time as you like watching our teachers in action.
    Watch a short film on the history of School of the Air, watch a lesson as it happens from our studio (weekends and school holidays - recorded lesson) peruse our memorabilia and make a purchase from our gift shop. 
    Allow 45 minutes to an hour and a half for your visit.
