Everything from hotel pick-up in the morning to finish at end of the river cruise in the evening worked well, was relaxed and enjoyable. Dave, our guide, was informative and entertaining, and planned the day to make sure we got the best experience at each stop. It was an ideal trip out of the city to the Blue Mountains considering we're only in the region for a few days - and of course, the koalas were so cute! Highly recommend!

If you go to Sydney, try to fit this tour into your schedule! This was my highlight in Sydney but you most choose Menashe Solomon. He is the best for Blue Mountains, Kangaroo, and Koala tour. He is very knowledgeable in the history and filled us in about the aboriginal culture and the people. He taught us which plants were medicinal and had jokes here and there!!! He truly kept us entertained the entire time. He even drove like a mad man (kidding) to get us to the ferry on time, a few mins to spare!!!
I couldn’t say enough good things about Menashe. He even customized our trip to fit everything in and when to see the animals when they are active!! Menashe is the best tour guide we had during our entire 15 days in Australia. You won’t go wrong choosing this tour and Menashe!! ❤️❤️❤️

From the moment we were picked up from our hotel we had a terrific day. David our guide was very friendly & told us so much about the area we were visiting, the recent fires, foliage & wildlife of Australia. He is a real fountain of knowledge. The wildlife park was fabulous & being up close with some of the animals was All in all it made our last day in Australia memorable.

I did this tour with a group of friends. We were worried at the start that the rest of the group might not like us, but everyone was super friendly, and it really helped that the guide, at the start of the tour, got everyone to introduce themselves and break the ice. It made for an even better tour. Featherdale was my highlight.

Pick up was at the hotel, however a better use of everyone's time would have4 us meet at a central place. Had trouble finding 2 of the guests which wasted 30 mins.
Unofrtunately we were in the Blue Mountains when the fires were nearby, so we could not get a good view of the 3 sisters. The cable car ride is amazing in spite of the limited visability.
Featherdale Wildlife was the highlight for me. I had never seen so many koalas and they were even awake!
Ride back to Sydney by boat was a nice way to unwind. I very long and exciting day.

We did their Blue Mountain Tour. Big Mistake. They tried to charge us an extra $10 each above what is in the brochure. When we showed them the brochure they said it was a new ride. We confirmed with the cable ride operator that the ride is 3 yrs old. They also lied to us that the trip to the wildlife park would be better in the afternoon as we would see the animals being feed. Wrong. They are no feeding schedule by the Wildlife park. The trip to the Olympic park is a joke, you can not do anything with the time they allaocte. They also did not give us a receipt when we asked for it. Without it you have no legal rights. The drive / guide was also rude. Do not waste your money with them. Better off with one of the bigger bus operators. Its shame they tread tourist they way they do. They do not realise that their lively hood depends on it.

This tour day was my last full day in Sydney and in Australia. I booked the tour 2-3 days in advance and paid in advance at the tourist office in Darling Harbour. My pick up was scheduled for 7:05. Vince (driver/guide) arrived about 7:20. From that moment forward everything was rushed. We skipped Featherdale in the morning and went in the afternoon. This was one thing I really wanted to spend some time at and we were only allotted about 45 minutes so we wouldn't miss the ferry. Instead in the morning we were dumped off in Leura for 45 minutes so the driver with cash in hand could go pick up tickets for Scenic World. Why not already have them? Are profit margins so thin that you can't afford to have tickets available for purchase on the bus? There is nothing in Leura that you really want to see. On the way to Scenic World Vince almost missed the exit. Could it be because he was talking on his cell phone and eating at the same time???? Luckily I skipped the lunch at the Chinese buffet and walked 5 minutes into town and went to the grocery store for something nutritious. Overall the thing that ruined the day for me was the feeling of being rushed, being dumped in a town that had nothing of interest, and a driver that was scary bad and hardly interacted with the passengers because of a cell phone addiction.

The tour company itself is poor but the Blue Mountains, Scenic World, and Featherdale Wildlife Park are something you should make an effort to go see. One tour company that I observed that had a driver that was on time and actually got off the bus to interact with the passengers and explain things was FJ Tours. I wish I would have booked with them.

Had read great reviews on TA about this tour operator and so finally decided to join their blue mountains tour. No problems with booking online and calling the day before to confirm the pick up location and time.
We were staying outside the city and so were the last to be picked up. There were two couples onboard, so there were only six of us. Our first stop was the Olympics stadium. This was also where the problem started. Apparently, one of the couples booked the wrong tour and thus decided not to go ahead with this tour. The rest of us were then told that we were to join another tour group at Featherdale wildlife park.
Upon reaching Featherdale, we realised that we were to join a large tour group operated by Gray Line. We only had 30 min at the park, hardly enough time to explore the park. The itinerary of Gray Line also differed from what was offered by Sydney Tours-R-Us. Gray Line only brought us to echo point, scenic world and Leura. There was no morning tea at Featherdale, no visit to Wentworth falls, Caihill's lookout, Megalong and Jamison's valleys and Katoomba town and no talk about aboriginal culture.
We had booked the tour as we wanted to go to places stated on the itinerary. It was really disappointing that we had to join another group with a different itinerary. The tour also felt rushed. The only consolation was that it was rather misty at the mountains that day (couldn't even see the three sisters) and perhaps we didn't missed that much. Such a let-down after reading all these wonderful reviews on TA.
Tip: Do confirm that you are doing the tour with them and not other companies when you book.

Went on Olympic Park/Blue Mountains/Featherdale tour, which should have included aboriginal cultural demonstration and boomerang throwing. Very wet day, 'luxury' bus dripped water onto seats and passengers. Visability in mountains almost zero, and wooden walkways dangerous as wet and slippery with fallen leaves in forest. (Tour should have been cancelled due to the conditions). No boomerang throwing or aboriginal demonstrations although advertised in tour literature. Spent only 50 mins at wildlife park. Guide extremely rude and abusive when asked about the above, (and accused my children of dropping litter on his 'luxury' bus!!!). Very unprofessional company - steer well clear.

Pickup is around 7am and the Driver tries to get you out of Sydney by 8am.

I overall enjoyed the tour but wished that it was not as rushed.

The itinerary included:

* Pickup from Hotel

* Olympic Park (not worth seeing, should be cut out of trip. This is just a 30-45 minute stop to collect payment. 2% extra charged if you use credit card. Do not pay the $10 extra for lunch.

* Scenic World in Katoomba (Extra $32 in cash.I have mixed feelings, the aerial tram was too short and the glass bottom was scuffed so you could not see well through it. The Wentworth falls dries up in the summer so nothing to see. The 30-minute long walk was nice, but the first part was filled with abstract art littering the forest. The forest was nice, scenery did not change much during the walk - parts had good view of 3 sisters. If you do the rail up/down the cliff make sure you set it to Cliffhanger. Does have decent views of Three Sisters (rock formation)).

* Katoomba for Lunch (remember you did not pay the $10? Go to Common Ground Cafe time permitting, they have a really good Barramundi Burger!). I felt we were rushed for lunch (only given 45 minutes). They should have extended this so one could comfortably sat down for lunch. We had to rush our waiter so that we could make the bus.

* Echo Point (you can either see an aboriginal show for $10 cash or hike inside one of the three sisters). I chose to hike to the three sisters, great views many picture opportunities. My Friends who went to the aboriginal show also liked it. Again, I wish there was more time to explore both options).

* Featherdale Wildlife park. You get to pet a Koala! Again, time is limited to about 45-minutes so you cannot do everything.

* Ferry ride back home (this is public transport, they pay for your ticket for an express ferry, but do not expect a narrated cruise back to Circular Quay). I guess this is the limiting factor of the entire program (when the last ferry leaves).

Ultimately, I wish they did pickups at 6AM and left the city at 7AM. There is also one additional ferry one hour later that they could use to extend this day tour a few extra hours. Cut out Olypic Park and distribute the time between Featherdale, Echo Point, and Lunch at Katoomba and you got one heck of a tour.

Other tour companies do the same, no matter which one you pick they try to fit too much in one day and the overall experience will feel rushed. Not to say you won't have a good time, just do not expect to stay too long in any one place.

Cost Breakdown.

Base Price = about $105 (+2% if using credit card)
Cost of Lunch Included (not recommended with tour company) + $10 (again +2% for credit card)
Cost of Scenic World = about $32 (bring cash)
Cost of Aboriginal Show = about $10 (bring cash)

Plan ahead and bring the correct amount of cash so you do not slow down the group (driver cannot break large bills).

Other note Their 15 person bus is okay, normally they use the 21 person bus but since we had a smaller group they used the smaller bus. The window seat was a little uncomfortable because the seat was too close to the window (there was a little ledge) so you felt you were being pushed off the seat (only for big guys like me).
