    What to Expect
Choose between half-day morning or evening safari options, or select a full-day safari adventure, and then meet your private guide and safari Jeep at the Bundala National Park entrance gate. Save time at the gate by upgrading your tour to include admission tickets.
You’ll explore this fascinating UNESCO Biosphere Reserve aboard a private safari Jeep, discovering its unique saltwater lagoons and numerous species of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled as you drive, because you never know what kind of animal you might encounter. Herds of elephants roam the park, along with pangolins, barking deer, rusty-spotted cats, jackals, wild boars, langurs, crocodiles, snakes, and tortoises, among others.
Bird lovers are in for a special treat, thanks to the park’s collection of more than 200 different avian species. Greater flamingos are one highlight, along with cormorants, the Eurasian coot, storks, ducks, and spoonbills. Visitors who select the evening safari will also be treated to a dramatic sunset to accompanying their wildlife viewing. At the end of your excursion, you’ll return back to the park’s main entrance gate.
