We had an incredible experience visiting Kraton Palace, Sono B. Museum, Tamansari Castle, and Ijo Temple. Our guide was practically a historian—his deep knowledge and passion for history made the tour fascinating. He explained the rich heritage of the Sultan’s Palace in great detail, helping us understand Javanese culture and traditions. Tamansari Castle’s unique architecture and history were truly impressive, and Ijo Temple offered breathtaking views. His fluent English made everything easy to follow. We highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn and explore Yogyakarta’s historical treasures. A must-do experience!

Sarj is softly spoken, and a really nice guy. He is very knowledgeable and gave us lots of background information about the Yogya Sultanate, the history of Borobudur and Prambanan Temples and about the Mt Merapi eruption in 2010. The tour was great value for money, and we would definitely him to family and friends travelling to Jogya independently.

This was a great tour. I had great time I Timang beach , fantastic views , beautiful site. Jeep ride trough the tropical forest then to Timang beach was great experience. After Timang beach things got better over Serene waterfalls. Had a great swim and lovely ride on the river with drum boat. Worth every penny. Highly b recommending anyone to try this tour. Me and my husband had two tours. On the first day the cycletour and on the second day with the car to the waterfalls and a lunch at a great location among the ricefields. Our tourguide was mr Wardo. A wonderful tour in Yogyakarta with Mr. Sarjanto as our Tour Guide and driver as well! Besides his hospitality and wealth of knowledge about Yogyakarta and its temples, he accommodated our requests and was flexible in adjusting the itinerary to visit specific temples, the Mataram Kings Cemetery in Kotagede, a silver workshop, local culinary delights, and capped it off with enjoying the sunset! Excellent tour!. Our guide Izzati was perfect. He explained all details in the diffetent places when we were, in addition, he is taking pictures and very good pictures! The best guide in the city!! 100% recommended.

Our cycling trip was great! Sarjanto is great in hospitality. We cycled trough the Kampong and ricefields. After a short break we went to a fishfarm where we fed the fish and the birds. There is a swimming pool as well with water from a natural spring, so bring your swimsuit. After the tour we enjoyed a lunch in the garden of Sarjanto. The traditional food was delicious and contained vegetables and rice with peanut sauce. We really enjoyed our morning! This tour is very suitable for kids as well (8+). Sarjanto speaks English very well. The Kampong is very nice and colourful.

This is a tour that must be done when in Yogyakarta! Beforehand, the tour operator was really helpful with every questions that we had concerning the tickets for Borobudur and Prambanan and gave helpful and easy instructions. Then the tour was with Mr. Wardo who is super nice and super knowledgeable, he is also a great driver and gives nice recommendation! And visiting the temples and Merapi was a really nice and beautiful experience in itself. We highly recommend!

Just finished an amazing bike ride tour. Started with an early morning pickup to transport to start point. Bikes were in good condition and comfortable. Serg was great, explaining many of the sights and activities along the way. Happy to stop for photos at any time. Variety of riding conditions but nothing too hard. Finished up at a local fish farm and tried some local snacks before finishing up with a local lunch back at the start point. Dropped back to hotel before 12 noon - which was great as it was a hot day. Highly recommend and will use again next time I’m in Jogja!

Izzati is the man. We went on two tours with him. This is a review of the 2nd one-A daytime tour od Yogyakarta. We had to catch a train to Surabaya so we mised the sunset part of the tour. I can only repeat what I said in my review of the Borobudur sunrise tour: the city tour, as well, was well worth the price he charged. And Izzati was a fine tour guide: kind, knowledgable, and professional. I could spend a week with him touring in the area and would not be tired of him. He was especially kind to me as he helped me navigate some of the more difficult staircases--the ones without railings-as I have trouble with these. If you want to see the Yogyakarta area, find Izzati and join his tours!
