We had a private tour for four people (two couples) with Karen. She drove us around the peninsula, stopping at several sites (after checking that we were interested in the location) and providing great information along the way. Karen is very passionate about hiking in the area and suggested several locations where we could get out fo the van for anything from a quick walk to some fairly strenuous “hikes” to the tops of hills with spectacular views in addition to the typical stops at beehive huts, ring forts, etc. This was so much better than just looping around to a pre-set list of locations because we did have a private group and Karen was able to tailor the day to our interests.

This is the way to do this in my opinion. This takes the stress out of driving it and allows the person who would have been driving to enjoy the trip also.

Our guide/driver, Dez, was the best! Not gonna lie — I’m not much of a deep-dive history kinda guy, but over the course of four hours, Dez weaved historical insights, modern-day adventures, and downright funny stories together so that I came away with a deeper understanding of how the Ireland of today came to be and the suffering (most of it whitewashed by biased historians) that the Irish people have endured for centuries. The highlight, of course, was Ireland’s countryside. Dez got us “back country” in a hurry. Conor Pass, all of the beaches, beehive hUts, stone forts, lambs, Blaskett Island…everything was beautiful. And for the faint-of-heart, do NOT sit in the front passenger seat! It’s a thrill a minute, for sure, but Dez knows Dingle, so…

Rory was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and personable. He took us to great spots for photos. Very worthwhile experience!

You won’t want to miss this beautiful scenery, and the historical sites. And you won’t want to drive it yourself, trust me we opted for the drive and hike combination. Our guide, Rory was happy to customize the trip along the way to stay longer or shorter times, depending on what we were interested in. The Cliffside views combined with the fresh air hiking and Rory’s great historical details provided us with the perfect day!

This is a great stress-free way to see the peninsula. Let the professionals do the driving. Sit back and relax, and enjoy the views. Our tour guide Rory is a local and was knowledgeable and friendly. We were allowed plenty of time to enjoy each stop along the way.

We originally had planned to drive the Dingle Peninsula ourselves, but quickly realized we would miss out on so much by having to focus on the narrow roads. We are so glad we did the tour instead! Rory was an amazing guide who eagerly shared the history and cultural gems of the region. His wife’s grandfather was evacuated from the Blasket Islands, and he had interesting things to share as a result. His first language is Gaelic, but you never would’ve known it because his English was impeccable. He was a tremendously accomplished driver and we highly recommend him to others!

Our driver, Dez, was absolutely exceptional not only as a safe driver but as an informed tour guide. His van was clean and comfortable. There were only two couples on t h e tour which gave us lots of time to get to know Dez. He has years of experience driving all over Ireland so his knowledge of the country is rich and thorough. He has a marvelous sense of humor ( like all Irish folks) and an outgoing and expressive personality. The tour took us from one beautiful and interesting sight to another and Dez's explanations enriched each experience. We were very fortunate to have him as our tour guide and we compliment him on his professional presentation and his safe and spectacular scenic trip. Des Murphy was our tour guide and more then that, he was a historian, archeologist and quintessential Irish friend. We talked about many things Irish, including history, politics, culture, religion, food, the Ryan’s (my family name😀) and narrow roads! You MUST go to Dingle and take this tour! The scenery is breathtaking!

Very good nice and informative driver, Rory. He was able to work us in on a last minute scheduling. For me I didn’t have to drive it so I could look at the sites.

Rory was an outstanding local guide and great driver. incredible views, pier, beach and star wars set all highlights. there were more spots I would've like to have stopped at, and with the exception of parking at the beach I think most of the drive is doable by a reasonable driver. the road is mostly one way traffic and cliffs are gaurded. so even though the tour was absolutely excellent in every way, in hindsight I would saved the 75 euros and driven at my own pace.

Loved everything about the trip. So many sites along with great background information from our guide. Views were great and so was the lamb petting/ feeding.
