- Au08670 contributionsBrilliant Day enjoying exercise and scenery!We really enjoyed our day. Set out on the boat from Lindau with a few stops before arriving in Switzerland across Lake Bodensee. Our guide was prompt and very friendly, The ride was mainly flat but I would definitely not take kids younger then 10/12 years as it was 42 Km long (8 hours).Written 1 September 2020

The explanation in English by the driver and guide was very fulfilling, we were able to make wonderful memories. - John S0 contributionsVisit to MeersburgAn attractive town , beautifully situated on Lake Konstanz- easily reached by ferry from Konstanz. Beautiful buildings, an old castle, a Baroque Palace etc there were many tourists there , but this did not spoil my enjoymentWritten 30 December 2019
- jmh11500 contributionsColourful and variedWe got the bus from Konstanz (13/4) to the island and paid at the gate where we were also welcomed and given a guide/map. Paths were good, everywhere was well maintained and there was great variety. The dahlia display was spectacular, the little vineyard area informative with signs and the views from the island good. There were a variety of refreshment points for good choice. The butterfly house was good and had plenty to photograph. We did not see everything, but enjoyed all we did. Recommended as good value for money too.Written 15 October 2019

I stood in Bregenz to attend a festival and visited Lindau which I liked a lot.
Lindau is a must if you are in the region. Even when it is a small place, you can enjoy it and find different things to do.
Around the lake you could visit more places, Unfortunately I ran out of time to do it
