Amazing service from Martina and Mont Trekking crew. Martina was always responsive from my first initial inquiry until we returned from the multi-day hike. She setup our lodging in some great huts. Our trip was at the beginning of the season, so at two of the huts, we had the whole floors to ourselves. During our trip she was very flexible with giving us alternative routes. There was still snow on our first descent on the first day, so she gave us an option to start at a different trailhead to avoid the snow. Also, one lady in our group was having some issues on the first day, and Martina was responsive with giving her different options for shorter hiking days, or ways to get back to Cortina. Unfortunately, by the last day four out of the seven women were having either fitness issues or boot issues. We were able to split up with two not hiking at all but taking multiple buses back to Cortina. The other two hiked with the rest of the group for half the day and then were able to meet up with the first two at one of the bus stops and they all returned to Cortina together. Three of us proudly finished the day and were able to meet our transportation back to Cortina on time. I would definitely book through Mont Trekking again.

Highly recommend Mont trekking for your Alpes adventure. We had a great experience and they were extremely easy to communicate with and responsive when we had questions on the trail with inclement weather and different trail options. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful to modify your trip to meet your needs.

MT helped us prepare for an epic 7 day trip through the Fassa Dolomites. The itinerary was perfect with stunning views throughout, roughly 6 hours of hiking per day, and great accommodations at each of the huts. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this company to work with to create an epic adventure getaway.

Mont Trekking helped us organize a brilliant 7 day thru hiking trip in the Dolomites Val Gardena region. Everything was seamlessly planned for our accommodation, route and luggage transfer to our final destination. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and everything about the Dolomites. Relatively easy to moderate hiking of 15km per day and great food each evening. Highly recommend Mont Trekking to help plan a Dolomites trip and would love to go back to the Dolomites again. It's as beautiful as the pictures!

I can't say enough about the communication from MONT Trek. Not only before the trip, but during the trip when things did not go as planned. I unfortunately became ill the 3rd leg of the trek. I was able to contact MONT Trek through WhatsApp and was afforded the option of being transported (local bus) to the next hut and having a down day to get stronger. And, when we became lost (our own fault) and found ourselves cold and tired, no where close to our hut, MONT Trek contacted the hut and we were picked up. Not to mention there was a large storm that came through on day 7 of our hike and MONT Trek held us back at a hut for a second night until the weather improved (snow, wind, etc). Other trekkers were not offered that from the companies they chose. I would have rated a 10, but I really did not like the paper maps they provided. Hopefully they will improve them. The route is marked very well so it was easy to follow what they provided, but information like distance between huts, trail conditions, names of peaks (there are so many), and historical information would be nice to have on the paper maps. All in all though, I would recommend this company.

From the very beginning of contacting Monttrekking our experience was positive. Erika could not have been more helpful and professional in planning our Alta Via 1 Southern Route Trek. The accommodations bookending the trip in Cortina d'Ampezzo and Forno di Zoldo were quite good and the huts, while congested were what we expected. One piece of advice I have for those interested in trekking in the Dolomite region is to come prepared for inclement weather. Trekking poles are essential and I added lightweight crampons to my gear in Cortina because an early snowstorm swept through the area creating icy conditions on the trail. In addition having warm clothing and rain gear is also a must. Thank you Erika for organizing this lovely adventure!

We just returned from a 5 day self guided hiking trip in the Dolomites. I am 58 and my husband is 68. Mont Trekking planned and booked our hotels/ huts and route and it was amazing! We started in Selva via Gardena , took the gondola up from Ortesei , spent 3 days hiking roughly 10 miles a day, with two nights in huts along the way. When we arrived in Careeza del Lago the hotel was clean had a sauna and steam room which was a dream! We hiked in some snow on the last day but they had added “micro spikes” and rain gear on the packing list so we were prepared. It was a somewhat strenuous hike , 6-7 hours a day but the mountains were glorious. We were in and out of clouds all day and met adventuresome people along the way. Our beginning hotel was in a neighboring town and we had no car so it was a bit of a challenge getting to our hotel up a long road from the bus stop and we were expected to take a bus to get back to Ortesei to begin on the gondola the next morning . Thankfully we met a fellow traveler who happened to be with Mont Trekking as well and she was expecting a van to pick her up so we road with her . Maybe Mont Trekking didn’t realize we were on the same schedule? This was the only small surprise that could’ve been organized a little better. Thanks to Mont Trekking we had the most wonderful adventure.

Mont Trekking is a very well run company. They planned a multi day self-guided Dolomites hike and it was perfectly planned out and organized. They were also great about following up where necessary.

I undertook two, back-to back multi-day treks (Val Gardena / Alps di Sissi and the Cortina Dolomites Grandview treks), plus several day-hikes with MONT Trekking and the experience was totally fantastic! The communication with MONT Trekking from the time I first contacted them to discuss options and routes, to during the walks, to after the walks, was timely and always professional. I especially liked how MONT Trekking checked with me before I began my first walk because of an early season snow storm. We discussed the challenging conditions I was likely to experience and my preparations, and I decide to go forward with the trek (which was totally awesome). The gear list I was given suggested I bring micro-spikes. I packed the micro-spikes and they were indispensable for safe walking on ice over the course of 3 days. I share this to highlight how MONT Trekking takes the safety and wellbeing its its clients serious. I felt completely safe and in good hands if I had any kind of problem. The accommodations in town and in the mountains were outstanding and the private transfer from Val Gardena to Cortina, arranged by MONT Trekking was great. I cannot say enough great things about MONT Trekking. I plan to travel with them again and soon!!

Even though it was rainy for 2 of our 4 days, the views were amazing and we had a fantastic 4 day, 3 night trek through the Cortina Dolomites. We did a self-guided tour and MONT Trekking was amazing to work with. 10/10 recommend. They were responsive to all of our inquiries, helped us decide which trek would be the best for our group, and provided all the packing information and maps that we needed leading up to the trip. The hotel, shuttle, hut, and hiking instructions were clear and check-ins and scheduled shuttles went very smoothly during the trek. The trails in the Dolomites are definitely challenging, even for experienced hikers, but well worth the effort. We are already looking for the next trip that we want to schedule with MONT Trekking!

What an amazing trip! The booking process was seamless and user-friendly, the accommodations were comfortable and full of character! The recommendations for lunch stops and when to take packed lunches were invaluable. And the hike itself was stunning!

Fantastic 3 day trek in the Dolomites (Val Gardena and Alp di Siusi). Everything was well organised and the food and accommodation felt like we were staying in luxury hotels rather than mountain huts. Certainly nothing like this in Australia. Going with Mont Trekking took away all the admin and hassle that you would inevitably experience doing this by yourself. Trek was relatively easy but still needed some fitness and persistence for some big climbs - albeit we only needed to carry a day pack.

The trip was perfect. 10/10 would recommend. Everything about it was well planned and turned out exactly as we liked. <3

My friends and I completed the five day self-guided Cortina Grandview Trek. We can not thank MONT enough for such an incredible experience. The itineraries and advice e.g. packing list, lunch spots, alternate routes, provided by the team were excellent and the GPS map app they provided was really easy to use and follow. Would highly recommend if you want to sneak in a quick five day trek, where you still see all the main attractions the Dolomites have to offer, into your European holiday!
