- Iriana I0 contributionsGreat private tour in OmanJihad our tour guide was lovely and patient. Gave us great museum suggestions for kids. Took us for Halwa (Omani sweets) and we stopped for shawarma while at the souk. Jihad gave us tips on what's considered a reasonably priced things and what isn't just to put things in context. Grand mosque was stunning even in moonlight. We didn't make it for visitor times 8-11 but we still get to experience the mosque.Written 14 December 2024

- T252JCchris0 contributionsThe perfect weekend in Oman.We went as a group of friends as a little celebration and wanted to experience some thing a bit unique. Had a great drive through the mountains which were spectacular. Detour to the Wadi Dayqah Dam was beautiful. Highlights were sighting turtles at Ras Al Jinz and an unforgettable swim in Wasi Shab: do get to the cave at the end as it is spectacular. Khalil was a great guide who solved our problems: big and small. We had a fantastic time.Written 27 October 2024

It was last week road trip planned..... with families and kids....road from muscat to Rustaq is smooth with out any hiccups usually all roads in Oman is really well build and smooth. Took our breakfast in Rustaq and then we proceed ahead first to snack gorge canyon......after few kilometers from Rustaq road diverst to Balad Sayt ....last village with nice road is till Al RaKhah then it all starts off road.....14 to 16 kilometers off road in Wadi....or say dry river......spend some time as being still summer not much of water was there in snake canyon....but yes if could track deep in canyon you could see more water which is challenging . However moving on to Balad Sayt...from here the real climbing of mounting starts. Some place its around 40 degree steep but short climb....with beautiful breathtaking views and worth visiting.. It took us approx 60 mins drive from snake canyon to Balad Sayt. I would recommend to visit in months like from Oct. to Mar. as weather would be more pleasant and would see more water in snake canyon. But yes its a place to go at least once especially for the ones who enjoy long off roads drive....... cheers....and yes 4x4 only.......

My girlfriend and I went on two day tours with Oman day tours, the historical forts tour and the Balad Sayit tour. While looking for tour companies we read reviews written by other customers and found that yours had one of the highest and best ratings and now we know why. We had an amazing time on both tours and we enjoyed how flexible the tours are and at no point were we rushed to go from place to place which in my experience happens sometimes on tours.
Our guide, Musab, was very professional and hospitable. He was able to answer all our questions regarding Oman and was very friendly and patient despite having to drive the long distances. He was so good that we decided to request for him again on the second day tour at Balad Sayit. He also brought us to a couple of interesting locations that are on the way even though it is not part of the tour's itinerary.
I would not hesitate to recommend Oman day tours and Musab to my friends/family who are visiting Oman as they most definitely get an enjoyable experience at a very reasonable price.
