WADI Shab - off cruise single day in port.

Had a great day easy to be collected at port and back again with no stress of getting back for all aboard. Good interaction with the Guide, safe happy good trip. Pictures provided of our trip to keep the memories.

Wadi Shab, better to swim

Our driver Juma drove a Toyota Prado. We started around 11am. Took about 1.5 hours to get to Wadi Shab. The hike from parking was about 30-40 minutes to the point where people swim towards a pool with water fall. I didn’t swim as I had no gear but my friend and Juma did. Took them almost one hour to return while I sat and waited. There's no place to change so better be prepared for that. And wear sandals that can go into water but can also handle trail walking.

When we were driving back to Muscat, about half an hour from the wadi, we stopped at the Bimmah sink hole. It’s salt water. Again my friend went in for a swim.

Great tour, excellent tour guides!
45 minutes trekking through the Arabian desert heat, boulders, alongside canyons and pools of water is all worth it! Our guides, Said and Faisal(hope I spelled it correctly), are excellent and helped us a lot in making sure we experience the best out this tour. Highly recommended!

great days out. worthwhile doing and seeing Oman

Jebel Sham and Wadi Shab were excellent. They were long days but hugely enjoyable. Abdullah, our guide was superb: we had a great time with him. Abdullah was waiting on both occasions in the lobby, the 4x4 was clean and very comfortable and his driving was very good. Overall I would recommend both trips highly. The only thing I would add is that for the Wadi shab tour, rubber swim boots or flip flops would be useful when walking across the stones in the pools so this may be good advice for bookers.
Finally, the food we had was superb. Westerners may be sceptical, but the meals at both restaurants Abdullah took us to were great. Slow baked goat and fried kingfish. Absolutely fantastic.

Wadi shab
This tour is well worth it. First of all, the tour leader is punctual. We found him waiting for us at the lobby on time with a warm welcome smile and politely. He took us to places and lead us to everywhere we went without left us behind. He was with us all the time to make sure we are all safe and also he is full of energy and fun.

Second, Timing of the tour is perfect. The pick up around 8 am from the hotel and return back around 4.30 pm. We had enough time to enjoy all places and scenery of oman without any rushes. And it’s covered all 3 places that included in the package.

Third, The cost of the tour is reasonable. Although we thought its a little bit pricy, we understand high cost of living in Oman.

Last, about the tour operator. The staff that we contact with is very attentively and helpful. I would recommend this tour to all my friends in the future.

Excellent trip

We very much enjoyed our trip. Abdullah, our tour guide, did a great job explaining about Omani history and culture and answering all of our questions. Swimming in the Wadi Shad was a lot of fun, and hiking along Green Mountain was a beautiful experience. We would certainly book again.
