About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- 54zakiyad0 contributionsFor the nature lover! This was such an awesome experience! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about St. Lucia and various plants on the island. The drive around the island, hike through the rainforest, and a dip in the waterfall was everything I imagined and more! I’d highly recommend this tour!Written 2 September 2024
- jdt1400 contributionsExpectation MismatchOur interaction with Nexus Tours was through our hotel, Royalton Saint Lucia. The staff person was really nice. Typically, we do not do excursions but my husband wanted to do a non-hotel affiliated boat ride and I objected. As a result I ended up booking an 8-hour Catamaran tour with NexusTours. The original expectations I had about our Catamaran tour was water on board, shade, bathrooms and a boat that is not packed. There was plenty of water on board. However, shade was limited to a few passengers and the cruise was 2 hours to first stop. It was super hot and uncomfortable. Also the boat was packed, at least 50 or more people. I was promised this would not happen. Then, the transportation to the first stop at Sulphur Springs was packed with passengers and no AC. Once we arrived to the Springs we could no longer bare the outside temperature with no water or place to cool off. We ended up paying $200USD to have a taxi take us back to resort. So excursion ended up costing nearly $600USD. My suggestion is to be fully transparent with travelers to make sure they have clear expectation about, duration time for cruise to/from, limited shade, crowds, access to water, bus conditions, and outside temperature, especially for those that are not familiar with the climate. This way travelers can really assess if this tour is right for them.Written 27 July 2024
- GlennPerfect0 contributionsTout Bagay volcano and mud bathTout Bagay tour. One to definitely go and see. Booked with the lovely lady Heidi from Nexus tours. Left the Royalton hotel by mini bus down to Rodney Bay then on a catamaran to the Soufriere where you see the Pitons. Firstly you go to Toraille waterfall but be warned it’s cold but fun! Then you have the chance to pick either the mud bath or the volcano tour. My wife did the mud bath with one son while I did the volcano with our other son. Both had enjoyable experiences. The tours last about twenty minutes on each one and then you go for a snack at a restaurant. Then it’s back to the boat with plenty of refreshments on board and where after a short while you get the chance to go snorkelling plenty of fish to see but not enough snorkels so bring your own if you have one! Once we set off again they pull into Marigot Bay for a few minutes then it’s back to Rodney Bay and the Hotel. It was around an 8 hour trip but certainly would highly recommend to anyone. Well done to Nexus St Lucia and the crew on the catamaran.Written 10 July 2024
- 133ginai0 contributionsA VIBE!Me and my husband had the most enjoyable time. The scenic ride through the city and villages, the peaceful walk through the rainforest to end up at the beautiful waterfall was breathtaking. The highlight was the hospitality of our driver and tour guide… D and Marley! They were absolutely the best and made the day so fun, took great pictures, picked fresh fruits, it was a great experience….IT WAS A VIBE! 😎Written 5 July 2024
- CPD19730 contributionsExcellent tripWe didn’t do the party cruise but did Tout Boget cruise. But it won’t give me that option. Amazing boat day trip to various bays, The Piton Mountains, volcanoes, mud baths, and snorkelling experience, waterfalls and a local town. Guides were so knowledgable with information provided consistently both on the boat and off it. Staff could not be more helpful, serving drinks and running around helping everyone. Relaxing boat ride but enjoyable day discovering many beautiful places in St Lucia xWritten 25 April 2024
- Samantha E0 contributionsRude and unhelpful staff/representativesI paid for a private luxury round trip transfer to and from UVF (the St. Lucia airport) for 2 people. Here is the 1 reason why I highly recommend going with another company — 1) unorganized, and rude representatives. When you book with NexusTours you are asked to select the category of your car (i.e., private, shared, luxury, etc.) and the amount of passages. No where are you asked to indicate the amount of bags you have. I booked a private luxury round trip for 2 people. We each had 2 bags, the standard amount of bags. While the transfer from the airport to the resort was fine, the issues started on the transfer from the resort back to the hotel. For starters, you will NEVER receive any type of call or confirmation regarding your pick up time. My sister-in-law who was also on the trip booked her travel through another company and received multiple confirmations and instructions for her departure time. We both found it odd Nexus never attempted to provide any guidance. So I take it upon myself to walk into the Nexus representative office and ask for confirmation, pick-up time, etc. Maria (the Nexus rep) asks me 1 question — what is the name on the reservation? I tell her the name, she confirms “Yes, we have you booked for a private luxury transfer for 2 people, meet in the lobby at 10:20am”. Not once did Maria indicate to me that I was only allowed to have 1 bag per person for this trip. The vehicle I was offered had room for only 1 bag per person. The driver was extremely polite and waited for us to come up with a solution. Maria rudely insisted this was my fault because I never indicated that each person had 2 bags, AGAIN—a question I was never asked nor prompted to tell. I could understand if we each had 3 bags, but 2 bags per person is pretty standard. I then reminded Maria that she herself didn’t ask me how many bags when we spoke in person the day before, nor was I asked how many bags when I booked the transfer. Maria’s response “well you didn’t book with me”, which 1) didn’t even make sense because you are a Nexus rep and I actually did speak to you to confirm and 2) that response was just rude and unhelpful. In the end Maria made it clear that she would not send another luxury private vehicle that could fit everything, nor would she give us a refund. We were told to send our bags with another vehicle (on a bus) and just hope we get reunited with them at the airport. Again, our driver was fantastic and this was not his fault at all. He was quite understanding. But again, if you want a smooth booking, confirmation and helpful people — please stay away from this company. There are other companies on the island. Book with one of them.Written 21 April 2024
- kaymR2433XX0 contributionsNexus, snorkel trip on St Lucia, Explorer day trip.We were told that the boat would have about 30 people by the hotel tour representative, so disappointed that there were 60 guests on the trip. The food was very good and the staff were great.. fun atmosphere and they were organized. The snorkeling sites were good choices. Snorkeling with 60 people was bad! However, less than half tried for the 2nd time, so much better and by the 3rd snorkel site there was an option to go to a beach and snorkeling was easier- though not the best site for snorkeling near a beach. It became a drunken party for some people... over flowing booze. Next time, if you really like to snorkel, this is not a great choice. If you want a party and snorkel -- then it is a good choice... not my normal choice. Note, the staff were very good and I enjoyed their company and organization. Nice views from the boat. Okay for party types. True snorkelers.. find something else.Written 5 March 2024
- FuzzBaby0 contributionsThis is a great activity!!We did the Bean to Bar tour on a family vacation. Our kids are under 10, so we wondered if they would be interested in the tour itself, but Monique was a wonderful guide and in addition to giving a great presentation she was welcoming and connected with the kids. They had a great time (especially with making the chocolate) and are still talking about the experience!Written 25 February 2024
- Climber160786054550 contributionsGood except for rideWaterfalls were great. They were a short 10 - 15 min. walk from road. Little rocky but Ok. We took turns standing down in falls and pictures. Water very refreshing. Left falls and drove down to little town. Restraunts and shopping and a few Rum Punches from crew. Marley led us down streets doing a Conga dance. He was lots of Fun. The whole crew were great. Only problen was the 2hr plus ride there in back of Land Cruiser and 2hr ride back.Written 6 February 2024

- divefever0 contributionsAbsolutely Spectacular Catamaran Island Tour!I cannot express enough how truly exceptional our experience was on this catamaran tour. From start to finish, it exceeded our highest expectations in every possible way. First and foremost, the value for money on this excursion is simply outstanding. The memories we created are truly priceless compared to the reasonable cost of the tour. It's a fantastic deal that offers so much more than what you pay for. This adventure during our summer vacation turned out to be the highlight of our SUMMER SHENANIGANS . The catamaran tour was not only breathtaking but also incredibly engaging, even for our four year. The crew went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable for all age groups, and our toddler was absolutely captivated throughout the journey. I unequivocally recommend this catamaran tour to everyone- It's a perfect blend of relaxation, exploration, and fun, all set against the stunning backdrop of the island's beauty. Five stars just don't seem enough to rate this incredible trip!Written 19 September 2023

- Romanda20230 contributionsOverall goodNice boat ride. Great staff/crew. The waterfall felt great. Reason for 3 stars instead of 5: 1) Music too loud. Couldn’t hear the person next to you. 2) Since so hot, would have been better to “snorkel” on the way down rather than on the way back just for some heat relief mid-way. 3) Only a few seats in the shade of the boat. Everyone else sitting in full sun for the 4-5 hours on the boat-two people had to be treated for over heating. 4) Reason for “quotes” around the word snorkel above: a) you’re accosted by local guys on kayaks coming up to the boat trying to sell stuff when you arrive at the “snorkel” site with their passive-aggressive attitudes. While they may be harmless locals just trying to make a living, as a tourist, you don’t know what their intentions are so you suspect the worst. They prop up to the side of the boat and can easily grab a tourist’s stuff when the crew aren’t looking and while the tourist is snorkelling. Saying “respect” and “darling” doesn’t hide the underlying tone that we’re all fully hearing. 2) at the “snorkel” site, there is nothing to see but seaweed and mud - nothing worth snorkelling.Written 22 August 2023
- Lynnette B0 contributionsGreat holiday experienceHad a really good time on the party cruise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty to drink and the music was great. The atmosphere was brilliant. Which I believe was down to the staff’s hosting skills My only criticism is that although the food was tasty. We did not think there was enough for the amount of people who were on the boat. Also as we were staying with family and not in a hotel/resort like many of the other guests. We had to take a taxi there and back which added to the total of our costWritten 12 August 2023
