We toured the Palace and gardens on a frosty January day. The guide (Karin) was very knowledgeable and had many stories about the family to share. She was patient with some folks on our tour who were late and tried to accommodate everyone. Even though it was cold, she kept us moving to see most of the gardens. The pre-tour communication was super helpful on what was expected and where to meet. Danke!

Imagine our surprise when we arrived and finding out buying our tickets in person at the museum was less than half the cost of what we were charged from your company! We were informed by the museum that your tour company has been “blacklisted” due to overcharging their customers for the same services and the gardens are always included in the price of the museum ticket. We are not happy and would insist upon a refund of the whole amount and will be taking this matter up with Viator customer service. We have never had a bad experience with a Victor company so we were shocked to say the least that Viator continues to allow your company to do business with them.

Very good tour guide in flawless English. Comprehensive, knowledgeable and objective with a dry sense of humour. The earpieces used to amplify his commentary were also very good. Would recommend.

We had an amazing tour with Uta. She was knowledgeable and funny and knew how to manage our group among the crowds. We got so much more out of our visit because we went with Uta. We also appreciated that we were all given earpieces so we could hear well. Highly recommend!

Alex was our guide for the Sisi Museum Tour and I can honestly say that he’s the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide I’ve ever had. He shared many small (and big) details during our tour and you could tell that he genuinely cared enough to make sure we got as much information about Sisi, the time period and the museum as possible. I would highly recommend this tour and I would suggest you ask for Alex as your tour guide.

Tour guide was knowledgeable and fun! Very crowded when you first enter not able to view the smaller items. With the amount of paying visitors I feel they could do some of the furniture.

Alex was an exceptional guide who provided in depth historical knowledge about the Hapsburg Imperial family that was laced with humor, and deep appreciation of the magnificence of the family’s surroundings, clothing and displayed possessions. The pace was lively and he seamlessly and enthusiastically covered a great deal of ground and material. I highly recommend this tour with Alex to anyone who loves beauty, history and is curious about the undercurrents in the relationship between Franz Joseph and his wife Sisi.

My tour guide, Alex, was great. He was friendly , engaging, and knowledgeable about Sisi and Hofburg Palace. My only caveat is that these guided tours don't allow much time for sightseeing at your own pace. The rooms, depending on their size, can get crowded very fast as other tour groups or individuals on an audio tour are also passing through. Afterwards, Alex took us on a quick tour of the outside grounds and gardens and gave us helpful tips on how to get a seat at Cafe Demel. Incredibly useful!

Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable and personable. He did a fantastic job covering aspects of every room, external area and garden. He managed the dynamic diverse group very well, which made the tour that much enjoyable.
