My family and I booked a private daytrip / transfer from Salzburg to Vienna, as we were searching for the best way to to travel between the two cities and stop in Hallstatt for a few hours. The trip was seamless and did not disappoint. Our driver, Daniel, was punctual and a safe driver. Hallstatt is amazing and a must see if you are visiting Austria!

Lucas picked us up early in a very clean and comfortable car. He was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the airport early which made us very happy. I'd recommend this convenient option for all.

Mario was a fantastic driver and guide who provided outstanding service. Here are the specifics: He proactively communicated with me the day before so we could tie up any loose ends in the details. We had six people with luggage, so the vehicle accommodations were vital to us. He was also flexible about our plans as we extended our stay a little longer to do the Salt Mine tour in Hallstatt. He found us a great restaurant along the route that was quick but also delicious so we could have a good lunch during the trip. He was pleasant, friendly, a great driver, and exceptional for what we needed. Thank you, Mario!

Andre picked us up at our hotel in Salzburg to Prague, in a very new Mercedes van. He was very nice and explained everything along the way. He took us to a back entrance,castle, to the old town of cesky krumlov and gave us 2 hours to explore and enjoy lunch in the village. He walked us thru the castle, and explained how to walk thru the old town. Then onto Prague. I would recommend this. 5 star

Michal Zahorak was an amazing private safe driver taking us from Salzburg to Munich! What a delightful conversationalist - he was so well informed about the country and the sites we saw. We would be happy to request Michal again when we return!

Vera from Sidetrip Tours was absolutely amazing! She was so sweet, very knowledgeable, a fantastic tour guide and excellent driver. We had the most delightful experience traveling with Vera. She truly loves people! Her passion for travel is obvious as she shares so many pieces of information regarding every stop. We had a delightful lunch, and, arrived happily enlightened in Salzburg! The picturesque stops Vera made ensured we will return and travel again with Vera as our guide!

Easy and pleasant experience. We were picked up in Salzburg right on time. Then had a great drive and time at the Eagles Nest. For a slightly extra fee, the driver was able to drop us in Garmisch, instead of Munich.

We used Europe Journey's Private tour/transfer service for the following transfers: 1. Berlin to Prague, 2. Prague to Salzburg, 3. Salzburg to Vienna, and 5. Vienna to Budapest. We were a party of 6, a comfortable Mercedes Van was provided, we were picked up from our hotel and dropped off to the new hotel, on the way we made 2 hr stops at 2 other places for site seing. In all occasions the drivers, especially Maria who was with us in 3 transfers, and Vaclav who transfered us from Salzburg to Vienna were very nice , knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a great time and enjoyed the site seeing. Ramona, the manager was very helpful in organizing all the transfers. We highly recommend their services and would use them in our future trips to Europe.

Thomas our driver was phenomenal! He was so accommodating and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend him!! Our trip was a beautiful drive from Salzburg to Vienna with stops at Hallstatt and Melk.

My husband has mobility issues but I was able to book a car and driver through Europe Journey to do our own sightseeing route in Vienna and have driver with us and later taking us to the airport. We could not have done some of the sights like Schönbrunner palace without this service. Thanks to Romana for helping me through the booking process and checking on our drivers etc. Thanks to our drivers Mikal for our Salzburg connection and to Peter for our last day in Vienna. Great vehicles too.

I could not possibly recommend our driver/tour guide, Bernd more. He made our trip incredible from the second he picked us up at our dock (Viking River Cruise, which got changed due to river levels. I contacted company and they made changes with no problems, it was seamless) to the second he dropped us off. We saw so much more than the excursion the ship provided. We figured we would probably never be in Salzburg again and really wanted to maximize our time and with Bernie, we did. We saw so many of the scenes from the Sound of Music, the lake area, the main street in Salzburg, the best sausage sandwich we ever had to the chapel where Silent Night was written. Bernie was so knowledgeable about everything we saw and had an answer to every question. We will be using this company again and again.

Actual Guide was in accident (he was reported okay!) previous day. SO, the Boss & his wife picked us up instead! Was actually nice spending time with them as we visited St Gilgan & Hallstatt. We enjoyed a perfect weather day as bonus.

This was the best day of our time in Austria. Went from Salzburg to Vienna with a 3 hour stop over In Hallstatt. It was fabulous! Such a great way to see Hallstatt without cutting our time in Salzburg or Vienna short.
