We had a blast! We booked a 6 hour wine tour with Malta Wine Tours. In advance the conctact with Abhi (the guide) was perfect. Then, the day of the tour, he picked us up on time in a nice car (extra driver). We were the only two people on the tour (beginning of October) so that made it very private. We were taken to two different maltese wineries. At the first one we had a tour and a tasting with a group of about 20 other people, the wines and the cheese platter were really delicious. At the second winery it was more private, it was just us, Abhi and the nice lady from Marsovin Wine Estate who gave us a private tour and tasting in the wine cellar. The wines were exceptionally good but the best thing about this tour was Abhi, our guide. He is a very charming young man who has great knowledge of Malta and its fabolous wines. We can definately recommend this tour!

We enjoyed ourselves with this tour. Abhi our guide was knowledgeable about wine in general and the local wines. The Marsovin wine tasting was great and small. Excellent wine, food and stories. The Meridiana tour was not that small. We would have liked it to be smaller. Still, we enjoyed ourselves.

Terrific experience! I was part of a small group with 3 other guests which I felt was a nice, relaxed size which certainly made the experience feel a lot more intimate.
The first location was the Meridiana winery which started with a guided tour around the estate. Next, we were taken to the second floor balcony for a wine tasting session with beautiful views of the vineyard below. We were also offered an ample amount of different cheeses and cold cuts which paired very nicely to the various wines we tried.
After we had emptied our glasses, we boarded the tour van for a short drive to the Marsovin wine cellar where we were shown the wine making process before settling down in the tasting room. Once again, the wines on offer were absolutely sublime and surprisingly well priced. I am not usually a big fan of reds but was so blown away by the Marsovin 1919 that I brought a dozen bottles back to the UK with me.
All in all this was a very fun and insightful experience that would no doubt offer a different dimension to your time in Malta. Abhi, the tour host was very friendly and accommodating which contributed to a seamless and candid experience.

Where to begin!! My boyfriend and I had the most perfect day visiting two wineries with the host, Abhi, along with one other couple.
Abhi is amazing at what he does, his passion and knowledge for the industry is unmatched and makes the tour truly come to life. His relaxed nature and good rapport with the winery owners makes you feel truly welcomed.
The two different wineries visited gave a rounded insight into the Maltese wine culture and we were provided with plenty of different wine to taste along with a generous food platter at both wineries.
Truly had the most amazing experience, the second winery tasting was so relaxed it was similar to having a dinner with friends.
This is a must do tour whilst in Malta!

I booked the Friday tour with Malta Wine Tours five days ahead of the tour. They contacted me the same day and asked me if I could change to the Thursday tour witch I agreed.
The day before I got a message and were told that my Thursday tour was canceled and my original trip for Friday was fully booked so I would get a refund.
I should never agree upon the switch from Friday to Thursday!
I got my refund, and actually ended up losing 6 euros because of the exchange rate.

Great tour. It is a small group tour - keeps it small for a more individualized experience. Two great locations, one with amazing tour of the vineyards and another in an amazing wine cellar. You get a great amount of wine for drinking and some great snack trays at the two locations.
The interactions with Abhi (tour host) was great, had no issues with anything.

Excellent tour! Excellent Guide!
Went on a wine tour with Abhi, and tried some amazing Maltese wines! Cannot recommend this enough, especially if you are bored of the beaches and want to try something else. Malta makes some great wine, who knew?! :)
