We hadn’t initially planned on doing the whale watching tour as we had booked the Northern lights tour but we had a few spare hours so decided to book on. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable, the boat was clean and comfortable with toasty overalls if you need them. Only downfall was we didnt see any whales .. a Minky whale made a very quick appearance but we missed it. But we did see some dolphins and the sun was shining so it was a nice afternoon out.

So we went on this cruise on our first evening in Iceland and it was so cloudy .. we didnt see a thing. Not even a star. So we were lucky enough to have a free evening last night so we used the complimentary tickets to try again and Lady Aurora was lighting up the sky from sitting in the harbour to the walk to the hotel, it was absolutely Incredible. 100% would recommend this trip to anybody, the staff are so knowledgeable and friendly, the overalls are toasty warm and if you are lucky enough to see the lights then it is perfect!!

Really enjoyed this tour. I recommend sitting indoors for the first 30-40 mins to be warm and then go up to the top deck for when you start seeing the whales :) we were lucky enough to see lots of minke whales and dolphins. Really well organised too.

The day was so windy and the waves were big. Instead of postponing or canceling the trip, they just gave us pills for the stomach. 3.5 hours were at the sea trying to track whales through waves of 6m high. The result was not seeing a single whale (only few dolphins) and full dizziness and sickness for the whole day.

Amazing boat trip, managed to see dolphin's and whales. The tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Would 100% recommend.

5 Beautiful sunny morning set out to sea weather stayed Sunny not too rough of seas . Saw a minki whale maybe 2 or 3 too fast to be sure. Enjoyable full Icelandic crew on this day. Offer free next trip goodfor two year because we see alot of whales pods or even a big whale

These guys know what they are doing! We set out to the sea on a very beautiful end of September day. We drove for 2 hours and we saw some birds but that was it. We started heading back to harbour, or so we thought. We travelled to anothet side of the bay and we did see a nice minke whale, quite close too! Harbour pourpoise were playing there as well. We could not be happier!! Even though weather on shore was very nice (for late Sep) the sea was cold. So remember to wear enough warm clothes. The trip is worth it!!!

Unfortunately the first night cruise was cancelled by them due to the weather, they contacted us to allow us the opportunity to rebook the following evening. They sent us a link to the local weather aurora to help us make up our own mind. We decided to risk it as no trip to Iceland is complete without viewing them. During the email exchange they also made us aware they could do taxi pickup, which we greatfully accepted as we didn't fancy trying to arrange ourselves at 1am in the morning! The service provided by them was great, however it wasn't to be for us to actually see the lights 😭, it was truly a let down for us, but not in anyway their fault, they did make us aware there was only a slim chance given the cloud cover. We have received a voucher which we can use to rebook again, but due to the weather we didn't use it this time. However it does last 2 years so if we return to Iceland we will definitely be taking another boat trip but hopefully with a better outcome next time 🤞

The staff were all really friendly and knowledgable. We didn’t get to see any whales unfortunately, but did see a pod of very lively dolphins. They took photos for research but were kind enough to share these with whoever would like them. If you get easily seasick, I wouldn’t recommend going on the tour in rough seas, you can really feel the waves hitting the boat. They do provide seasickness tablets before the tour for free.

A really well organised trip out, it was 3 hours in total and that time flew by. The crew on the boat were brilliant. Francesco was providing commentary on our excursion and providing information about the species we might see and all of the ones we did see. He was really engaging and made sure no one missed any sightings whilst onboard. Elding also provide a link to the photos taken of the whales, no need to try and get a rubbishy shot of the tip of a fin - you can enjoy the experience and be fully emersed in the moment. Worth every Icelandic Krona! Would highly recommend visitors take a trip out with these guys and support whale watching.

Went on this trip this morning and it was great. Saw minke whale, white nosed dolphin and harbour porpoise. It was a bit windy and choppy but didn’t care just wanted to see the amazing sea creatures. Staff were knowledgeable and made sure we maximised the opportunities to see the whales. Make sure you wrap up warm and get outside so you can spot what you can. Had a hot chocolate on the way back to harbour to warm up.

We were lucky to see the northen lights as soon as we left the harbour. Unfortunately, the crew were playing loud music through cracly PA. Would be better without the music.

The cruise was really informative but unfortunately we did not see the lights the first night. However the free ticket to return was offered and we went again on our last night and had an INCREDIBLE biewing of a ful dancing display of the Auror Borealis. Unforgettable experience to be treasured forever. Thank you.

Fantastic boat trip to view the Aurora/Northern Lights. Been chasing auroras for 6-7 years now. Best show of the lights we have ever seen so far. Had taken couple of photos from beach front to pass time before joining the boat Definitely recommend taking the boat trip as much, much clearer view than beachfront away from the lights of the city. Aurora dancing and moving in all directions. Both still buzzing. Highlight of our trip to Iceland.

This was a great tour and our guide was excellent. Unfortunately, we went at the end of the season and most of the puffins had migrated but our guide found as many as he could for us to see
