What to Expect
Begin your adventure with pickup from your downtown Reykjavik hotel. Meet your guide and settle in to the vehicle for a short drive to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Thingvellir, the first site of Iceland's parliament, which is the oldest in the world. Continue on to the geothermal area around the Geysir hot spring. Marvel as, every few minutes, hot water shoots 80 feet (25 meters) into the air. Next, it's on to the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall where water plunges in two stages into a 105-foot (32-meter) crevice. Deep into the interior Highlands, arrive at Langjokull Glacier. After listening to a safety briefing and getting driving instruction, board your snowmobile (complete with all necessary equipment) and follow your guide for an exhilarating hour-long ride across the ice. Your tour ends with a drop-off back at your hotel at around 6:30pm.

It was nice to combine the golden circle with another activity. Tour guide was nice - but understand he is also the driver and does not give a lot of detailed information about the golden circle sites. I found snowmobiling challenging - no practice before starting the tour -

I went on a two separate tours with Arctic Adventures, and both were fantastic. The first was snorkeling at the Silfra Fissure, which was amazing. Crystal clear water right down to the bottom, probably about 40 feet below. Our guides, Ellie and Goran were both great, too. The

Fantastic tour!! Our tour guide was great. The perfect amount of time was spent at each location, and he even added on a quick stop at the end when he saw some Icelandic horses and thought we would want to see them. The snowmobiling trip was the highlight of the day. Being July

What a brilliant day; we were picked up by Peter in a huge monster truck from our bus stop on time, and left for the beautiful national park - the only negative thing here was I wish we had more time, we then left for the Gulfoss Falls which again are absolutely stunning,
