Darius was excellent. Darius took us to both the old town area and new town area. He explained To us about the history of Finland and about present day Finland. He Walked at our pace, stopped when we needed to rest or use the facilities. He is an excellent, patient and passionate guide. We used him earlier This year to see Porvo and he was excellent then, too.

I was looking for a tour to spend my layover time in Helsinki and chose Darius as he had the best price for it. He picked me up from the airport and took me to the city centre where he showed me the main attractions. He is extremely knowledgeable, and knows everything about Finnish history from centuries ago till today. Also he told me a lot of things about the culture and the way of life of Finnish people which was very interesting. I would definitely recommend him !!

We had a 9 hour layover in Helsinki are arranged a Helsinki tour. Darius was fantastic. It was -5 deg C and 20 cm snow outside. Darius picked us up at the airport, drove us to Helsinki, and we walked around for 3 hours. We would walk for 10 min, then duck into a building to warm up. Lots of interesting buildings, and a great hot chocolate stop! We used up a lot of energy and sleep soundly on our next 13 hour leg to Singapore! Darius has a history degree and it really showed in the depth of knowledge about Finnish history, both ancient and modern. He was happy to answer any questions we had and expanded on things we were interested in. I particularly want to point out how good driver Darius is. Even though the roads were snowy and icy, I felt completely safe with him behind the wheel.

Well, I could not have been more pleased with the layover tour I took with Darius. He not only showed me many of Helsinki’s main sites, but gave me the history to go with it. Being a historian, he would naturally be good at his job. He was patient with all my picture taking and thoughtfully considered each question I asked him. All of my other layovers have been self-exploration. This changed my mind going forward on using a tour.

We had a really great experience with Darius who picked us up at our hotel. He made us discovering Helsinki through the Finnish history. Darius is really passionate and shared it with us. He is really customer oriented , listening to what we would prefer to see. So in a nutshell, we can only recommend this guided tour.

I had 7 hours layover time in Helsinki on my way returning from Moscow to the States. This trip is a hidden gem for a great city tour to see highlights of Helsinki, including Helsinki Cathedral, Uspenski Cathedral, Esplanadi park and Kauppatori. The most memorable experience of my trip is attending Sunday morning service at Temppeliaukio Kirkko. Even though I can only stay for the first 15 mins due to my tight schedule, it is a wonderful experience to enjoy heavenly music in the church of the rock!!!
