    Meh... Better skip.
First of all, the driver was amazing, funny and friendly! But... he was talking at the same time as the recording but not in the recording channel. The recording kept resetting and not in sync with what we were seeing. It was a very short trip and really not worth the money. You'd better just take a day ticket and take the tram yourself. This is nobody's fault but the bus was full of screaming children while their parents sat separately and didn't care. Such horrible behavior. I couldn't wait to get off the bus. This was simply a horrible experience for me. But the driver was amazing!

    With out the on off
This was called hop on hop off without the on off part As it was November and the winter season they don’t do on off and it only goes round twice a day There is recorded information to listen to but the driver was talking over this giving his version so very hard to listen to either

    It is free eith card
Included in Helsinki card so it is free I WOULD NEVER BUY IT The reason just shows houses that are no descript. In Helsinki all the major sites are at most a 15 to 20 minute walk .if needed and you are tired take the tram. The bus passes near some sites but you still to walk anyeay so why bitter with this expense

    Brief history of the city
I always recommend this to everyone who doesn't have a lot of time in the city. It is a great way to know the place in a short period of time. I enjoyed the history of Helsinki, seeing the beautiful pieces of architecture, parks, markets, etc. Nice experience!

    See the city
This tour is a great way to see the city and there seemed to be regular buses too. The stops are clearly signed so it shouldn't cause any confusion and the tour can be ideal for a sunny or rainy day.

    Helsinki by bus
A good way too see the sights of Helsinki, helps you get your bearings. Just be aware there are two Hop on Hop off buses run in Helsinki so make sure you get the right one, they do share a few stops beside each other.

    Fantastic Outing
I loved the hop on hop off bus tour because I always learn more about the entire area. The driver was excellent in maneuvering some of the narrow roads with parked cars along the way. It was fun to learn so much history about Helsinki.

Highlights of Helsinki in an Hour!
The Helsinki Hop-On Hop-Off City Tour is a perfect way to see the highlights of this beautiful city in a short period of time. The accompanying audio was easy to listen to and gave a brief description of each site. There were a few times when I wasn't sure where the site was that was being described. All in all, it was a great experience and would definitely recommend it to other travelers. KarenR.

    A must do
Always a must do. We do this every country we visit to get the lay of the land, the history and the opportunity to decide what we want to see first or if time restricted. This company never lets us down. Would highly recommend it

This does have recorded travel and tourist info, but this is just a convenient way to get around.
There are several of these operators and even their buses look the same or similar. The casual observer would think they are the same. We tried to get on one and were told it was a different company. They directed us to a bus parked a few years away. We came on a cruise ship and used them to book the bus because the cruise gave us a small discount that made their service slightly cheaper than booking directly with the local company. We read several horror stories about people missing the last bus back to the docks and almost missing the ship, so I was very careful about verifying the pick up spots and if we would make it back to the ship in time. This paid off because the bus we were on skipped a huge number of scheduled stops just to get us back to the ship on time. We had less than an hour to spare.

Great experience if you're only staying for a day in the city
This is a great way to see and experience the city if you were staying for a day only. Great experience for my mum and I. There's wifi on board and our last driver was really helpful with the passengers. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name.

Decent way to see the city highlights quickly
The bus was late picking us up at the cruise terminal, but got underway quickly once we were on board. Very timely the rest of the day. City was on holiday but still got to see plenty of sights.

    Friendly and follows timetable
Staff of City Tour Red buses in Helsinki is very friendly and what is most important they follow their timetable. So it's really very easy to hop off and you don't have to wait very long till another bus is coming.

Good for an overview of Helsink
This is the best way to go sightseeing when you have little time in town as it helps to have an overview of the city and to hop off by the top attractions.

Best Way to See Helsinki if Limited Time!
My wife and I decided to do the Hop On Hop Off Red line tour because we only had about 6 to 7 hours to experience Helsinki. We picked it up at the Cruise Dock Area and some of the stops we got off were at the Rock Church, City Central near the Art Deco Railway Station, and the Senate Square. You have many choices and can see a lot of the city this way. We also had done these type of HO-HO buses in Barcelona and in Talinn, Estonia. We would recommend this mode of transportation in a heartbeat as since we are in our 60's it keeps our amount of walking to a manageable amount.
