      Nice fun place near Bengaluru
Visited Domaine Sula with family for the first time, though I have done winery visits and wine testing in South Africa earlier. It was fun to visit the place, our guide Dhanush was well versed and made the visit fun visit and educational. The wine testing experience is really good. The restaurant at this place Little Italy is great to have lunch. You can spend 4 to 5 hrs. easily here enjoying the place and lot of Insta worth photo opportunities here.

A pleasant stop midway between Bangalore and Mysore.
I enjoyed a nice lunch of sauteed prawns in pleasant surroundings with a glass of their, very acceptable, Chenin Blanc, after a brief "wine-tasting". Very nice! I recommend a visit, especially if you are journeying between Bsngalore and the charming city of Mysore!

Day well spent with wine tour and tasting!
Day well spent away from busy city life Kadu winery (undertaken by Sula) located near channapatna, offers you with wine tour, explaining different stages of wine production and then offers you tasting different sets of wine. They will teach us how to taste the wine. Dine in restaurant also available where you can avail wines if not taking on a wine tour. Store to buy wines and other souvenirs also available. #grapestomping is one of the traditional methods of preparating wine and they offer it as fun activity for visitors.

      Good game day tour
Takes about two and a half hours of travel each way. Sign up for the wine tasting. The wine making your is useful only from January - March. The grape stomping is fun but expensive for the amount of grapes. After a nice lunch and a couple of hours of rest, one can head back after purchasing a few memorabilia. The wine shop also has some discounts

      Good wine collection
We did not get to take the winery tour. However, we had wine at their restaurant and hence this review is about their restaurant. Positives: We had Red Sangria and we loved it. The veg starters were tasty. Needs improvement: However, the service was very slow. They weren't accepting credit cards as a payment option!

An excellent day off from the hustle bustle of the city.
Kadu winery is an excellent place spend a day far from the busy city life. We traveled all the way from Bangalore and it wasn't disappointing. Our hostess showed us around and explained the process of wine making. Later we had a good session of wine tasting. The only drawback I might say is their vineyard is smaller than some others. But we had a great day and it's a great place to click some photos.

      Incredible beautiful estate.
What a beautiful estate. All is clean and perfect landscaping. Staff is very friendly and good explanation. Wine master is from California Tasted Chenin (correct), Sauvignon (too young, too astringent ), Cabernet Shiraz (bad). Expensive wines. Straight transfer from stainless steel tanks to glass bottle cannot make wine age and finish growth...

      Good experience
We visited Kadu Winery to celebrate our wedding anniversary this year in June. It was a good experience as this was my first trip to a winery. We went during off season so we could not see the entire process but this is a very beautifully maintained place with a good restaurant inside. We were shown the vineyard where we were blessed to see couple of bunches of grapes coming up (or growing down), then we were shown the machinery used to extract wine and the process was explained in detail, then we were taken to the wine storage facility and were given information about how the various varieties of wine are stored and lots of other information about the color, taste, etc. Then we were given 6 varieties of wine to taste after which I couldn't stand properly because we had to literally gulp down most of it due to lack of time, we had the option to throw the wine instead of gulping it down, but then seriously!!!! it's a sin. The restaurant within the facility had some good variety of food and the taste was above average too. What worked most in our favor was the weather and the greenery around. It's a good experience to have and I will surely recommend it to friends and family.

A good wine experience - preferably in season
This is Sula Wines' new Winery in Karnataka. I read about it in a blog online, and then visited here while driving from Bangalore to Mysore last week. And i think I liked it alright. If you like Wine, pay a visit to know everything about Wines, including tasting :-). We were given a verbal explanation of the wine making process as it was out of season, but were taken around the vineyard and the distillery. It was nice overall. The perfect time would be Dec-Jan-Feb when you can see the grapes and maybe also see the distillery in action. By paying a fee, you can go through a 20 minutes lesson on Wine Tasting and Drinking - well, i liked it :-) There were at least 8 different types on offer. Also picked up a couple of bottles from their shop (no great discount though). Overall a nice hour and a half break from the drive and then you are ready to start again. Be careful - if you are driving, skip or shorten the Wine Tasting part.

      Beautiful place to stop
First of all, this place is beautiful! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take the tour, but I did the wine tasting for 350 inr and it was really fun. The guide was interesting and fun, and the wines pretty decent. But even without the wines, it's such a beautiful stop on the way between Bangalore and Mysore for a snack or coffee.

The tour was well-done by Dhanush. Very humourous and polite and respectful. Wine testing was done very quickly, and taught about about wine tasting very well. I would 100 percent recommend anyone who likes wine to try their tour and activities.

We reached at 1:30 pm on a Sunday and got to go on the wine tour only for the 4:30 pm batch. We could have actually gotten in for the 3:30 pm tour but the staff mismanaged the process. this was despite multiple interaction with multiple people on their staff team. They give you a ticket at the entrance and you need to apparently book again at the gift shop specifically for the tour. And they were extremely rude. Finally the manager came and apologized. Since we travelled all the way from Bangalore and there is pretty much nothing else to do around this place we finally ended up waiting and taking the 4:30 pm tour. Apparently the restaurant is run by Little Italy. But terrible Italian food. Nothing close to what you get at Little Italy restaurants in Bangalore

Domaine Sula is about 65 Kms from Bangalore and takes about 3hrs. It's on the Bangalore Mysore Expressway. The last stretch of the road is in a bad state and Domaine Sula may carry out the maintenance as part of CSR activities. The ambience is good and worth visiting for a weekend. People are very courteous and helpful during food selection. Entry fee is INR 600/- which is redeemable against restsurant biĺl. Food is good and tasty. Tasting and distillery visiting is separate and the charge is INR 600/-.

Amazing experience at the Sula vineyard with my friends! A really informative wine tour, with comprehensive (and fun) explanations about how their very famous wines are made. This was followed by a great wine tasting. The tour and the tasting were made twice more fun by Dhanush, our guide for the tour. The restaurant was incredible too, with delectable wines and awesome food (shoutout to the B35 pasta) on offer. Finally, we bought some delicious wine bottles which aren’t usually available to the public. Would definitely recommend the place for a weekend getaway from Bangalore. Pro tip: Ask for Dhanush. He’ll make the whole experience unforgettable.

Enjoyed witnessing the crush pad bottling unit and learning about the wine tasting experience. We learnt that you can experience more during December…March when it’s the harvest season. Go during that time before or after lunch. Dhanush was a great guide, inspite of being a fresher :)

Lovely place for couple to hangout. Me and my wife visited this place on a weekday. It was not very rush. So went around the vineyard tour, did some wine tasting and had a quite long lunch at Little Italy restaurant at this place. Overall very relaxing time we spent here. Highly recommended.
