About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- birgitbjeverskov0 contributionsAn outstanding tourAn outstanding tour, rich in information and humor. The guide is incredibly knowledgeable, and it's not just the historical facts that matter, but also the charming anecdotes and hidden gems that make it so captivating. Highly recommended.Written 17 June 2024
- 437iliag0 contributionsNot as interesting as it sounds, but worth the moneyTwo questions should be asked about the "Monstour tour:" Is it good, and is it worth the money? These two questions, which are usually inseparable, get opposite answers in this case due to the relatively low price. In fact, the tour offers very little of what it promised (Danish Folk Legends), with too many pauses in between the statues (many of them are already unavailable or damaged). However, it can help you to get acknowledged with a bit of the history and city's geography. So, the tour can be helpful if it is your first day in Copenhagen.Written 7 June 2024
- Z5425UCmattp0 contributionsFun way to see some sites in CopenhagenThis was a fun and interesting way to see some major sites in Copenhagen as well as some details you might miss, while learning about Danish folklore and history.Written 14 May 2024
- tinahH2579FC0 contributionsWonderful and informative tour of CopenhagenThis is a wonderful tour around Copenhagen with many facts of H.C. Andersen, bits of story telling too as you stride along from one spot to another. Very clear speaking english, and good guidience of where to go, so you do not have to look at your phone all the time. Even though I am a danish citizen knowing Copenhagen I really enjoied the tour and also learned new things. I can highly recommend this tour 🤗Written 10 May 2024
- kdjama0 contributionsShort tour - great infoA short walking tour of the history of the royal family in Denmark Not a long tour but takes you through places you might otherwise missWritten 9 May 2024
- R914DElindag0 contributionsOff beat tourI loved and can not say enough great things about this tour. It was full of off beat statues, locations and information. It was unlike any other self guided or group tour I took on my trip. If you like sites that are not usually visited this tour is for you.Written 5 April 2024
- Tony D0 contributionsNice tour, but nothing to write home aboutNice tour to walk around the city and see some sights that are sometimes easily missed. Is it a replacement for an actual walking tour? Not really, as depending on your phone, it can be a janky experience. But it's good value for your money and you learn some interesting facts!Written 25 July 2023
- amandacK4164SK0 contributionsExcellent and interesting tourThis audio tour was great! A fun way to see and explore more of the city. It was both interesting and entertaining. Easy to follow and great technology. Would have loved to have had some actual folk stories told during some of the walking parts to fully fill out this tour. Enjoyed it very much!Written 7 June 2023
- Emptylica0 contributionsGreat self walking yourAmazing self-walking tour, it takes about one and a half hours to two hours, depending on how many photos you take. Great narration with sound effects from time to time. It was an absolute delight and learnt a great deal about the royal buildings and family in Copenhagen.Written 6 December 2022

- SoloTravel66610 contributionsInteresting and funI loved this tour! Very easy to follow and very informative. You will find out plenty of stories of monsters and ghouls as well as architecture and the history of Copenhagen. It takes you some places that would may not have visited before. Would definitely do more of these!Written 24 January 2022
- 324juc0 contributionsBrilliantThis was a brilliant tour - really interesting and informative. Directs you to the sights of Copenhagen you would not normally see. Highly recommendWritten 15 November 2021
- michellemP3511KQ0 contributionsFun and interestingI love monsters and myths and this was the perfect way to start a city break. We often join ghost tours when we arrive in a city to get our bearings and learn some interesting local legends. This provided all of that but with the added ease of having it on our phones to walk at our leisure. Well worth it! Also added invaluable local knowledge, such as the need to wait to cross even when there’s no traffic or you may get fined.Written 19 January 2020

Did not disappoint. I particularly enjoyed the Danish Modern section, the collection of Danish chairs, and the Verner Panton collection.
