About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- johnhX4660CR0 contributionsDay trip from Corfu to Pargas.Absolutely amazing day trip. Scenery was stunning and the brilliant staff were knowledgeable, told us of the history and were friendly, polite and helpful. Beautiful, clean and surprisingly extremely affordable throughout - from the cost of the trip itself to the refreshments and food onboard. Even had a little barbecue on the way back. If you go on one trip out from Corfu on your holidays make it this one. Guaranteed not to disappoint.Written 25 October 2024
- hart0gd0 contributionsVery worthwhile mini cruiseThe tour was amazing, our tour guide Bianca gave an excellent overview of the things we saw. We moored in Lakka on Paxos which was an amazing little town even when some of the shops where already closed in the down season. The caves were an absolute highlight and amongst the most beautiful places I visited. The swim at Antipaxos was very pleasant. The crew was very friendly and the food and drinks nice enough.Written 21 October 2024
- 814dorav0 contributionsPaxos and AntipaxosThis tour was a great experience. Although the boat ride itself took quite a long time, it was worth it because landscape is wonderful. We swam in crystal clear water, better than expected.Written 18 October 2024

- Michael M0 contributions***Must Visit Trip...Would Highly Recommend***We boarded the boat at Corfu Port after a smooth transfer from Kalami. Once boarded we were shown to the upper deck, where we had reserved seats. Once on the way, Maria was very informative, describing all of the local landmarks in multiple languages. Once we arrived at Lakka on Paxos Island, the stunning bay and town were then explored and we visited multiple local shops and a restaurant for some great food. Once back on the boat we sailed past the beautiful west coast of Paxos, visiting multiple caves en route to Antipaxos, where the boat moored in the bay so everyone could swim in the crystal clear water for over an hour. The food and drinks on board were excellent and very reasonably priced, backed up by the great service of Spiros and his team, while the DJ played great music to keep everyone in the party spirit. The tour has something for everyone and there were people of all ages on board. Would highly recommend! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Written 16 October 2024
- June C0 contributionsA perfect day in Greece! We visited Paxos/AntiPaxos with Ionian Cruises booked through TripAdvisor. The crew of the Sfedone was professional and friendly. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed swimming off the boat in the Ionian Sea, sailing into the Blue Caves, and visiting the town of Laka. A must do activity if you are staying in Corfu.Written 6 October 2024

The tour guide spoke different languages and was really nice. In the afternoon, since the journey from Antipaxos to Corfu was long, they surprised us with a DJ (Pantelis, which was reaaaally good) and with traditional Greek dancers. A great experience!Written 29 September 2024
- 384dilyanb0 contributionsA MUST-DO in CorfuEverything was more than amazing. The value and pure entertainment the whole organisation provides is ON ANOTHER LEVEL. They had photographer, DJ, and Maria, who not only told us captivating stories in over 4 languages, but also contributed SO MUCH to the overall mood of the boat. There were breathtaking views throughout the whole 10-ish hours, which by the way, went by so fast. I definitely recommend Ionian Cruises to everyone who considers going to Corfu. An absolute must.Written 23 September 2024

- justynawC2752QB0 contributionsReally worth the price | Well organizedVery well organized. Good coffee at the bar, stop at a gorgeous little town, fun in the caves, then swimming in turquoise waters of Antipaxos. There was a bar, BBQ and DJ on the boat. They even gave a show of Greek dancing, people were dancing too. It was more than I expected, great value for money, I recommend!Written 22 September 2024
- Budd T0 contributionsAwesome trip, highly recommendGreat trip, village was cool to visit and had some awesome beaches with nice water to swim in, as well as a good hike to get to the secret beach. The caves were cool and the place we stopped to swim from the boat was enjoyable as well. Good entertainment on the boat for the ride home made the trip go by very fast. We were very blessed with the weather which helped as well.Written 21 September 2024
- MIKE2404490 contributionsFull day enjoyable trip.Very good but long day with a well organised trip. Shame the weather was poor in the morning but made up for by the glorious sunshine in the afternoon on the way back, which made the blue lagoon swimming enjoyable and party disco, bbq and dancing. Parga a great place to visit for 2+ hours. Would recommend this Ionian cruise trip for a full day out.Written 20 September 2024

The tour departs from the Port of Corfu; if you have your own vehicle you can park in the immediate vicinity at no cost. Upon departure you will be greeted by the tour operators, punctuality is recommended as well respected.
Sailing to Paxos takes about an hour and a little more, with another 20 minutes you reach Antipaxos,
In Paxos the stop lasts an hour and a half, you can walk through the streets, have lunch or dive into the beaches just a stone's throw from the port that is really worth visiting.
Antipaxos has wonderful landscape views, the color of the water is like in the photos, without filters and without deception, blue like being in a pool. The stop is made at a Maldivian beach, where for about an hour you can swim among the fish.
Afterwards we head towards the picturesque caves of the island.
The return was a wonderful surprise: the crew involves guests with DJs, dancing and music, you return to port without even realizing it. During the crossing we also spotted beautiful dolphins playing in the waves caused by the bow of the boat.
I highly recommend this tour to discover the wild and characteristic Greek islands, well organized and engaging.

Our excursion to the islands of Paxos and Antipaxos with Ionian Cruises was an unforgettable experience that fully deserves five stars! From the first moment, the crew welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. Maria, our Guide, has enriched the journey with fascinating tales of the history of Corfu, making every minute on board interesting and engaging.
The first stop in Paxos was perfect: we had about two hours to explore the island, with its picturesque villages and fascinating sea views. Next, the highlight of the day was undoubtedly swimming in the turquoise waters of Antipaxos. I had never seen such a clear and inviting sea, a true paradise!
The fun is not over. On board the Sfendoni, we danced to the DJ's music and watched a sirtaki show performed by two talented dancers, which made the atmosphere even more festive and authentic.
In summary, this excursion was perfect in every detail, from the beauty of the places visited to the entertainment on board. An experience that I highly Recommendation to anyone visiting Corfu but I recommend booking a couple of weeks in advance, the longer you wait the more prices increase as well as risk not finding a place for the day you want!

Ionian Cruises is the company we chose for the Paxos, Antipaxos and Blue Caves tour. For the booking we relied on Leo, the owner of a travel agency in Sidari, who recommended the tour to us and took care of every detail to perfection. The package included the return coach trip that took us from home to Corfu Town, where we boarded one of the two sister boats. The boat has a bar where it is possible to refuel, a guide accompanied us throughout the trip, who explained the various attractions during the tour. During the day there were various moments of entertainment, in particular a traditional Greek dance show, while in the afternoon there was a DJ set, very fun to conclude the tour. The wonders that can be observed during the tour certainly make it worth waking up early. I recommend it!

Be careful when booking from Lefkimmi port. The tour itinerary does not make it clear that this is the second stop and seats will not be reserved for you, meaning that you will struggle to find anywhere decent to sit in the morning. The port is incredibly bare bones and the coach trip to the port can take ages depending on your hotel, even if this looks reasonably close on the map (the operator does make this clear but it was still a little longer than we expected).
The stop in Paxos was lovely and a reprieve from the boat (which we were relieved to escape after 1+ hours of rubbish seating). We arrived back to the boat early and grabbed good seats for the remainder of the trip.
The Antipaxos portion of the trip consisted of a stop in a tourist-heavy beach (where you could jump off the boat into a ‘private’ booking of hundreds of people) for 90mins, and a trip into the blue caves. The boat is petrol based and big so you get a lovely view of these; as you reverse out, you get a very strong inhalation of the boat fuel. Your view and experience of these is heavily dependent on where you end up sat after Paxos - if you had to sit inside or on the other side of the boat, there will be a limited view for much of the journey.
Costs on board were a little pricey but not unreasonable, and the guide was okay. Slightly strange decision to have a DJ play covers of pop songs most of the journey, rather than say much about the islands - sort of felt like the tour was catering to the Kavos crowd rather than other tourists.
Overall beautiful scenery and a good day out - but would fully expect there to be better tour operators out there. The 5* ratings here only apply if you are lucky with seating and weather the entire day, neither of which are a given.

The port is also easy to reach by car and there is plenty of parking.
The boat and 'turned out to be uncomfortable and too loaded for the capacity, insufficient means of rescue, singular the captain.
It was like being in a movie by the Vanzina brothers where the cheerful gentleman dispensed hugs to everyone, jumped on deck as the boat swayed vigorously and part of the crew vomited in blue bags that he then held in his hands waving throughout the crossing.
Arrived at the island of Paxos and 'was announced that the caves cause sea could not be seen, the same for Antipaxos, the boat's stopped in a sad port to make everyone dive half an hour and then leave for two hours in Paxox town where two cheerful Japanese tourists were abandoned for being late.
In summary: 10-hour trip lasting 7, 4 hours of crossing side by side between waves and vomiting and cabaret .. The forecasts were known before departure, the trip would have to be eliminated or refunded and in any case everyone would have to be notified before about the change of itinerary.
A little scam for tourists unaccustomed to the sea.

The views of the cliffs and caves were beautiful. The island is also pretty but full of tourist traps, be mindful of your money. If you don't like crowded places I don't recommend the trip cause the boat is full and everyone is moving around. The swimming part was the best, you can jump from the top of the boat and the water is very clear. The DJ was very bad, they put the same song maybe 3-4 times, they leave a song on for 20 seconds then change it,some people liked it, some didn't.

The trip overall was nice but there were some obvious and disturbing minuses:
The boat was too crowded. When the boat stops and people want to go in the water, unless you jump from the boat, you need to stay in line and wait in order to enter the water.
Another minus was the fact that on the inside of the boat, the AC was doing its job only around the place where it was placed. Behind the boat, it was really hot and smelled a lot like gas.
The trip to Paxos was nice, around 2 hours to walk around the city and have a quick bath. Antipaxos was amazing.
I would recommend to increase volume for the microphone or stereo system so when you're outside, you can understand what the guide is saying. The boat was very loud so sometimes it was hard to understand.

It was a nice trip! I definitely think it was worth the money. It lastet more than 10 hours and we saw such blue water. The stay in gaios was also nice you could go swimming there and eat something. The only thing I would recommend is really bring a light jacket or hoodie. If you are seated on the shadow side of the boat and it’s still early in the morning it can get chilly. ( we went June) However you can always leave your seat and go down to the railings and sit there wherever you like. We swapped our seats accordingly to our liking in regards to heat. The drinks are rather expensive there and not to big so I would recommend packing your own if you would like to drink there. The food prices are okay. The fullness of the boat is okay. It looks really full from outside but if you’re in it it’s actually not that bad, you don’t really notice it. You do spend more time on the boat than on land/ water however you see very beautiful and interesting things/ palaces/ mountains and the guide tells you all about it.

I don't usually do these types of boat trips because they tend to be packed with people like a cattle car. This one was but I didn't really notice because I sat in the bow and forgot that there were a hundred people behind me. The scenery was simply amazing, especially on the west side of Paxos.
We got good looks at the historic parts of Corfu Town and crossed paths with a pod of dolphins on the way there.
The live narrator was an amazing woman who gave entertaining commentary in six different languages.
At the Paxos harbor we stopped for almost 2 hours and had the option of doing four different beaches. I did the hike to the hidden cove, which was a bit steep in parts and narrow, but it was worth it.
At Antipaxos we stopped for a long swim from the boat in a beautiful blue bay.
On the long trip back to Corfu there was barbecue food offered at a reasonable price, bar drinks, music and dancing.
Highly recommended.

There were great bits and not so great bits to this tour. The places you’re eventually taken to are stunning. Antipaxos and the Blue Caves are incredibly beautiful. They also do their best to break up the very long journey with entertainment. The not great bits are really poor organisation and the sheer volume of people they cram on the boat. Our first attempt at this trip didn’t happen because of really bad weather. Instead of cancelling the trip ahead of time as would have been sensible, they picked us up, drove us all the way to the port in dangerous weather and only then decided it wasn’t going ahead (when any sensible person would have looked at the weather forecast ahead of time and realised it wasn’t possible that day). So that wasted several hours being sat on a bus in the rain. Communication before was non-existent. I tried to send a few messages to the operator, asking what time we were being picked up etc and nobody answered. When we rescheduled, the weather was much better and the trip went ahead. When we eventually got to the beautiful places it was wonderful. But swimming at Antipaxos was essentially ruined because there were thousands of other people at the same time, crowding and trying to do the same thing. On the way back, there was a small bbq which was nice. Then they blasted out awful, really loud dance music for what felt like years. If that’s your thing, great. If not, there’s nowhere to go to avoid it until you eventually get back to the port, circa 11 hours after starting the trip. All in all, some great bits but it’s a really really long day/journey and the boat is heaving with people. If you want a chilled, intimate trip to somewhere quiet, this isn’t it. But if you’re happy to travel lots, and don’t mind the long day and hundreds of other people around you at all times, it’s fine.
