About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Safari232003095290 contributionsGreat view & great exercise optionAmazing view. We were there for sunset and was crowded, as expected. Was not easy to find the fanicular car. A nice workout to get to the base of the hill. Worth the effort & a to do while visiting AthensWritten 26 December 2023
- Journey066614877210 contributionsFantatsic views of the city from its highest vantage point. It's a steep walk up but well worth the effort for the views at the top. The only place where you can see the whole city laid out before you all the way to the sea.Written 29 November 2023
- darzovedeja0 contributionsGive Urban Athens Collective a chance and you might get more than you bargained for!I was fortunate to be the only client on tour, so Dionysus/Dennis agreed we could wander into places I had not been yet and so we did. My extended conversations with him were a highlight of my Greek trip. I peppered him with questions.... Well educated about the historical sights we were seeing, both ancient and modern, Dennis gave me historical context, shared his views about culture and politics and gave me a sense of what it is like to be a Greek in this modern world. I appreciated him greatly, as well as the walk around what I considered to be greater hidden gems, the Monasteraki and Psiri neighborhoods, which I might not have gotten to on my own, or with such insight into what makes those neighborhoods unique.Written 2 August 2023

- Karen F0 contributionsWalk your way to the topExtremely experienced tour guide picked me up right in front of my hotel very friendly easy to be with beautiful walk up to the top of Mount Lycabettus amazing views of the whole city of Athens . Very accommodating tour guide I wanted to go to the national gardens and made our way down and were able to do that on my way back to the hotelWritten 4 May 2023
- AJKManchester0 contributionsWonderful historic site with an excellent Tour GuideBooked the early morning tour and skip the line tickets. Little bit more expensive but meant we were ahead of the crowds and completing the tour before it got too hot. We booked with Viator who were easy to deal with and who provided an excellent tour guide, Artemis. Artemis was the perfect guide. She was friendly, fun and very very knowledgeable. She pitched her tour perfectly with just the right amount of information, history and direction. She even knew where the best places were to get the perfect photo/selfie. We visited in October and found the weather great for sightseeing. Not too hot but nice enough not to need coats etc. It also meant that the crowds weren't quite as big.Written 15 October 2022

- L6579XSdavide0 contributionsVisit to the AcropolisWhen buying my tickets I noticed that preferential rates for over 65 year old are only to EEC and EEA citizens. Surely it can’t be legal to discriminate against over 65 year old from other countries in this way.Written 16 May 2022
- huhuhuhuseyin0 contributionsGreat experienceWe all typically fell in love with the Greek food once again...and this time learnt Hasapiko dance, too '')Written 10 November 2021
- carlamarrelli0 contributionsLike a LocalThe person who guided me (Eleni) was beyond amazing! She accommodated the schedule due to a problem with subway (fires), and I was stuck at the airport, trying to check-in at the hostel and show up for the tour! Best part: I didn’t ask! She offered as soon as she heard I would not make on time! Besides that, she took me to places where I barely saw a tourist, but I found many hidden gems (indeed), such as graffiti, and she also has a lot of knowledge about the places (she will share everything with you)! Eleni also pointed out places to eat and what to order! I had a great time and I recommend this tour and her!Written 9 August 2021
