We did the privite tour with Monica. She was really knowledgeable, gave us a lot of information abou vine as well as life in Portugal. She has great sense of humor and made our trip a lot of fun. She also always reminded us to take the pictures, which we appreciate since now we have beautiful Douro Valley not only in our memory.

We had a wonderful time. Maria, our guide, was terrific. The port tasting was very well done and the private lunch was a very special treat. 10/10 would do this again.

Our last day in Europe was spent taking this tour, and as it was just me and my wife we were able to get quality time with our tour guide. Nuno Pires was absolutely fantastic, and if you can you should request him directly. His English is perfect, although he does tours in 6 languages. He was kind, had so much knowledge, and really took the trip to a higher level. It was like hanging out with a friend for the day, and I would recommend anyone to go have the same experience I did if you are able. He also gave us a list of recommendations once we got back to Porto to make sure we could finish our trip off right on the last night.

We went on a great trip to Douro Valley. We had a wonderful experience and Pedro was an excellent tour leader. He was so caring and made sure we all had a good time. He gave us a lot of information about Porto and Portugal and because of his positive and warm style the trip became such a great experience. He took us to 2 wineyards. They were both good but the second was magical. We strongly recommend the trip and ask for Pedro Anna Henley Bäcklund

We had the absolute best experience with Nuno on our tour of the Duoro Valley! He was friendly, accommodating, and incredibly knowledgeable of the area and Portugal's history. He answered all of our questions and ensured the tour suited our family. The entire group couldn't stop raving about how awesome Nuno was, and it definitely made our trip to Porto that much better. Everything was on time and we felt very safe and well taken care of. The views were stunning, the lunch was delicious (get extra potatoes if you can, they were heavenly), and the boat ride was lovely. Overall, this was a great experience. Ask for Nuno to be your guide and you won't be disappointed!

We had Nuno as our guide & driver. He speaks very good English. He shared a lot of information with us. The ride to the Duoro Valley was scenic and interesting. The lunch was delicious and Nuno took us to a farmer market and we bought cured meat, very tasty and cheap. The whole trip was very relaxing, we were happy to get out of the city for a day. I highly recommend this tour. Thank you Nuno for a great day.

We had such a fun day with Monica! She told us all about Duro Valley while we enjoyed our ride around the valley. We became good friends by the end of the day and really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Monica!

Had a wonderful day with our guide Maria. Punctual pick up. Comfortable ride. Loved the first winery. Great tasting and lovely setting. The lunch was also tasty and a wonderful way to try Portuguese dishes. The boat ride was very nice. Stunning views. Second winery was picturesque. Nice cocktails. Would have liked to sample more of their wines. Overall a great day.

My friend and I decided to forego a group tour and book a private tour instead — it was the best decision we made on our trip. We had the best time with Monica! A beautiful day in a beautiful place.

What an unbelievable Tour! A MUST if you are in Porto or in the Douro Valley Area. The entire day was filled with great experiences, great laughter and exceptional memories made. Our guide Nuno is the absolute BEST!! He brought the experience to the next level and made sure that everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. He is extremely knowledgeable and quite informative with the many questions and discussions that our group had. I would 110% recommend Nuno and would definitely request him on our next visit. The tour is extremely scenic and every stop is so special and unique. There was not one regret on booking this excursion with this group and would highly recommend.

Tanya was an incredible guide! She taught us so much about the region and its history. Each stop on the tour was so enjoyable. The lunch was a delicious home cooked meal at a quaint restaurant, which was a great way to try the local cuisine. They were also very accommodating for my vegetarian parents. Highly recommend taking this tour while you’re in Porto.

Miguel was incredible! Such a knowledgable tour guide, incredibly friendly and absolutely made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend the tour as it is beautiful and a must do! Everything from the wine tasting to boat tour to the wine and chill is perfectly crafted for an amazing day.

My family and I (15 total) took this tour and it was absolutely incredible! Our tour guide Maria was amazing, took her time teaching us all about the history of wines and the land around us. We had 4 kids with us and she took the time to listen to them and make sure they were having a great time. It was the perfect outing for our family. Our driver was also an expert of the road driving our van on the narrow roads making it look easy! We loved the first winery, lunch and boat ride. Our last stop at Trinidad was a bit of a disappointment, we found the place to be fun but the people working weren’t very friendly and welcoming. They made some rude comments towards my parents making the atmosphere uncomfortable and unenjoyable. The drink they made was delicious! We just didn’t finish ours so we could make a quicker exit. I would absolutely recommend the tour to everyone I know. Hopefully they change the last stop to a more pleasant place to make for more of a chill vibe to end the day.
