We took this full-day tour in March 2022 with Raquel. Raquel picked us up promptly at our hotel to start our day and was very pleasant and knowledgeable about everything we were doing. Our first stop was at Bom Jesus Sanctuary. Raquel explained everything we would see before we ascended the steps. This is an extraordinary site, not to be missed. After her detailed description of the area, we had time on our own to climb the steps and view the grounds before Raquel took us inside the church and offered further information. From here, Raquel took us to Braga where we enjoyed some local pastries and wine and a lovely tour of the area. We were then treated to a typical Portuguese lunch at a local, family run restaurant that was well off the tourist scene. We finished up in Guimaraes with a private tour of the Palace of the Dukes. Raquel's knowledge was incredible since she once worked as a guide inside the Palace. Raquel was a fabulous host for our tour. She even went out of her way to help my husband with some unexpected shopping that he had to do. Even before the day was over, we were talking about returning to both Braga and Guimaraes. I highly recommend this tour and Raquel as a guide.

Pedro was an excellent guide. In addition to the tour itself covering historical highlights, we were treated to a delicious, authentic Portuguese lunch in Braga in a local restaurant that we may not have found on our own. We stopped for pastries - Tibias, as custard filled Braga speciality, in the morning and then a hazelnut pasteis in the afternoon in Guimaraes.
We visited historical sites with beautiful views in both towns. Pedro was knowledgeable, energetic, conscientious and friendly. He is easy to talk with and interested in learning more as he goes and sharing that with his tourists.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable day, covered a lot of ground efficiently and felt like we got a very good flavor for both Braga and Guimaraes.
Pedro was always accommodating, easy going and customer oriented. Thanks for a great day!

Pedro arrived on time and is super easy going. He is very knowledgeable and great fun to hang around with which is always great in a tour guide. He was flexible and brought us to great restaurants (some hidden gems!). We had 2 young kids with us and they loved him. We would definitely have Pedro guide us again when we are in Porto.

We had a fantastic day with our extremely knowledgeable guide, Pedro. He is very pleasant, professional and friendly at the same time. He has a deep knowledge of the material and it’s not memorized but from an educational perspective. I highly recommend this tour, specifically if Pedro is your guide. Beautiful scenery and landmarks.

Our guide Sergio was very nice, polite, knowledgeable and full of interesting stories, not only from history but also gave us some tidbits of daily life if Portugal, and this is exactly the information you are looking for when visiting a foreign country. We did not feel rushed at all, but Sergio managed to fit so much in one day - I'm sure we'll remember this trip for a long long time. Traveling a lot, we know how much depends on the guide when taking a tour - it could make or break your whole experience. Sergio made our day highly enjoyable, we learned a lot and had a great time.
