Diogo was so kind and prompt. His historical knowledge of the city and sights was an amazing bonus! Knowledge of the area and being Portuguese was awesome to get a local perspective . Highly recommend!

If you are interested in the Templar history and their connection with the Freemasons then this is the tour for you. The guide was very well versed in Templar history and took us to relevant sites in Sintra and Tomar. We saw many artifacts in the sites and discussed the connection to Freemasonry beginning in 1307, and the two organizations subsequent relationships. I am a retired military officer and the guide also highlighted the geographic positioning of castles across the country as a defense in depth scheme. This was also quite interesting. The trip also included a stop at an excellent restaurant in Sintra. All-in-all this is an excellent presentation of history delivered by an impeccable tour company. Enjoy yourselves and soak in the incredible history of the Knights Templar and the Freemasons!!!

My coworkers and I had a quick tour with Diogo during our layover in Lisbon. It was definitely the highlight of our trip! Diogo was friendly and knowledgeable the entire day! He picked us up from our AirBnB in Lisbon and we spent the day adventuring. He curated the tour as the day went on to allow more time in the gardens as this felt more enjoyable with less people around. The outside of Pena is gorgeous and he knew so much in history about the palaces. He supplied water bottles in the car and checked with us on timing of when to eat and took breaks with us when we needed them from all the walking.

We had a wonderful day/tour with Diogo. He started the day with the pastry of Sintra (pillow of Sintra) and then headed to the Regalaira which was awesome. We then toured the gardens of Pena Palace and then the Palace itself. We ended the day at the most western point in Europe, Cabo da Roca. It was a spectacular day and we will be hiring Diogo again!

Diogo was so good! His knowledge of the area/history is impressive and he was extremely nice and comfortable to be around. He also was a safe driver which is always reassuring. He brought us to some beautiful places and also gave us great food recommendations. Without a doubt would recommend Outing Portugal and more specifically, Diogo, for your next adventure!

What a wonderful day! I completely love the large market, with all of the fish, fresh fruit and cafes with coffee and pastries. Beautiful tiles, too. Beautiful nature to visit. It was so misty/ cloudy, that the monastery, seemed to magically appear from the solid impenetrable white cloud that blocked the view. A local lunch was tasty, before heading to visit a palace that is associated with a vineyard, learning about the rich, CENTURIES old history of the palace, followed with an art tour at the winery with an opportunity to see where the wine is stored. Ending with tasting three of the wines made by the winery. This tour is perfect for those who love nature, art, wine and a local experience. This is my third tour with Outing Portugal, and absolutely love the experience! I look forward to many, more adventures to explore this beautiful country.

I had a wonderful trip to Évora; where I got to see ancient Roman columns, walk around the village, and the place I wanted to see “the Chapel of Bones”. I am really happy with the tour, as I love learning about the history of places I visit , and Outing Portugal did not disappoint! I highly recommend this company especially with the professionalism and care of the tour guide. Water was available and umbrellas for possible rain, which ended up being needed for the hot sun that appeared.

This is my second time booking the Arrábida: Setúbal tour with Outing Portugal. This was my cousin's first trip to Portugal, and Diogo planned a wonderful tour of Setúbal for us.
