We had an amazing time with our guide Jorge Silva discovering Sintra, Cascais and Cabo da Roca. Worth it, a very knowledgeable guide who guided us through Pena Palace and always ready to answer any question. We could not have asked for a better tour and we will always have a fond memory of this awesome tour.

We had a fabulous group tour to Cascais, Sintra, Cabo de Roca, and Penta Castle with our wonderful tour guide, Rui. Skillful driver navigating the Mercedes van through winding roads, he made the history of the area and of Portugal come alive with his knowledgeable commentary and frequent showcasing of points of interest. He also provided excellent advice on restaurants for lunch-the one we chose (I’m sorry I forgot the name) was excellent but word to the wise: always ask “How big?” is the big beer I think we got 2 litres apiece! But don’t miss a Yellow Cab tour with Rui- he’s awesome!

We took a private tour for 4 people from Lisbon to Sintra/Pena Palace/Cabo do Roca and Cascais. Our tour guide/driver, Magdalena, picked us up right on time in front of our hotel in a comfortable minivan and she provided a wonderful day trip experience. Magdalena is clearly very knowledgeable about Portuguese history and the special details about each important sight we saw. Everything went smoothly from the very beginning. Fabio gave us excellent advice prior to booking the trip. We bought entrance tickets to the Peña Palace and Gardens for the first timed entry at 9:30 am. Magdalena got us to the Palace entry on time and went in with us providing invaluable descriptions and guides along the way. We highly recommend the private tour for a very reasonable rate and we especially recommend Magdalena as a tour guide. Wonderful private tour, well worth the reasonable expense!

Fabulous day with Jorge (aka George) :) He took us to all the major sights we wanted to see and also some hidden gems. His knowledge of Cascais and Sintra was tremendous and he advised on eating at a 5 star restraint in the beach. Really enjoyed our day with him! Highly recommend!!

We had an amazing, bountiful day touring Bemel and Sintra with Mario! The complete picture she put together between the two spots was just lovely. Her knowledge of the city of Lisbon, and the entire country of Portugal, is impressive and her company a pure delight! 11/10

Maria Magdalena is not only a rockstar there, but a walking encyclopedia and an incredible athlete! Trust me, those street angles are no joke and our group is fit. She was running circles around us! Everything we asked her, no matter where we were, she knew the entire back story and answers to everything. Everywhere we went with her, everyone knows her … and loves her! If you’re trying to get to know Portugal, request Maria Magdalena. You won’t just be passing by and seeing things, she will exercise your brain and make the incredible history of that magnificent place make sense. But be ready- she’s like the energizer bunny and you just keep up! She would get 10 stars if I were allowed.

Pedro was an incredible tour guide for our family of six. His knowledge of Portugal is very evident, he was so interesting and informative the entire day. We were able to see so much of the coast and Sintra and surrounding palaces because of Pedro’s conscientious planning. We felt very well cared for and it made for the most fabulous relaxing tour. He was also so gracious in taking many family photos for our group at all the highlights. We all highly recommend this tour , ask for Pedro and you can rest easy you will be getting the best.
