Lovely views of Lisbon during sunset and fantastic atmosphere
It started a little chaotic queuing with other boat trips leaving at similar times, as with other reviews, better guidance on meeting place would help.
However, once on board the journey began and in my opinion was a fabulous way to experience Lisbon and it’s shoreline sights at sunset.
The hostess introduced the sights in perfect English and French (I have no doubt they could have spoken a number of other languages fluently too).
We initially headed east to view the Cathedral and the National Pantheon, then west across the river to the Cristo Rei and under the Ponte 25 De Abril. We doubled back to the Lisbon side of the river to see Torre de Belem and then journeyed back along the coastline to the ferry port.
The wine was flowing during the trip and the atmosphere was very social, we even had a good sing along to some ABBA classics as we came back. Blankets were handed out as the sun set for those who were a bit chilly on the water.
Thoroughly enjoyable evening and well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone coming to Lisbon.

What a great way to see the sunset, it was beautiful. The guide on board was great, providing wine and telling us the history of some of the sights along with route. When they stop and turn the boat round to come back to the start and just stop and let you watch the sunset it truly was stunning and emotional.

Would definitely recommend doing this trip.

We did it as part of 70th birthday celebrations and it was a hit with all of the group

Fantastic view of Lisbon towards the eye of the River Tejo

The adventure starts nearby a amazing historical place downtown Lisbon called Praça do Comércio. From the departure we already experiment a fantastic trip to the time in a most charming and traditional boat. Seeing some of the landmarks building from the perspective of the River Tejo is amazing because gives an idea of how life evolve in this beautiful city of Lisbon. The guided tour well conducted by the very hospitable and knowledgeable crew makes the adventure even more pleasant. The wine and refreshments served on board helps a lot getting into the mood of a exciting sunset on board. The time just fly by and when we realized we were there for over 2 hours and able to see the most important monuments in Lisbon observed from the river. Highly recommended value for money.

Customer Service was Disappointing

I had reached out to the provider prior to arriving in Lisbon due to our outbound flight being one day delayed (due to mechanical issues) and he was not flexible in refunding the cost of the sunset cruise. The provider was only willing to move us to another evening EVEN after I had informed him that we no longer had the time to reschedule due to the loss of days in Lisbon.

It was already very disappointing that we lost travel days in Lisbon but to not have the cooperation of the provider to give us a refund for something that was unexpected, was even more disappointing.

Cruising Around Lisbon

Wonderful experience. We watched the beautiful sunset and cruised by numerous attractions that our tour guide explained with a voice that simply drew interest. Would recommend to other families with children mature enough to enjoy the experience.

Relaxing and informative sunset cruise on traditional boat.

This was a wonderful way to see the skyline of Lisbon and to learn about some history of the city and the different areas we passed by. It was amazing also to pass under the 25 of April bridge which is similar to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The staff was very professional from the check in to the boarding of the boat and our guide Madalena was especially pleasant and knowledgeable. She spoke of the history in sites in several languages. In fact, visitors boarding for the cruise were first asked for their preferred language and were boarded on different boats accordinly. We were also served delicious local wine during the cruise (red or white available) and were given blankets as it became a bit chilly and windy. (We took the tour on Sept. 8. They also played some of the traditional Portuguese Fado music. The sun was setting as we returned to the docks and we had a wonderful time. The boarding site was across from the main commercial plaza and was easily accessed with public transport. There are also many great restaurants in this area. I would highly recommend this trip as a relaxing start or end to your visit to Lisbon.

A sunset you will remember for a long time

I would recommend sitting in the back, left corner of the boat for the best views/pictures. The boat travels West and then turns East before the sun really sets. The view from the back and left section of the boat is the best.

The tour itself gives you a great overview of all the main attractions in Lisbon on top of being able to watch a unique sunset. It's a great option to help you plan out the rest of the trip. I would definitely recommend this cruise.

A glowing cruise

In this lovely cruise in an authentic Portuguese wooden sailboat, we saw Lisbon from the river, perhaps as it is best seen. Our tour guide, Marta, was a joy to listen to, mixing history, anecdotes, information and conversation into a perfect blend of fun. She even sang Happy Birthday to my husband in Portuguese, because after all, it's a much better song in Portuguese (in fact, as we learned)! We sipped white wine as the sun set over the Tagus; the wind whipped across the surface, but the boat was smooth and steady. A beautiful experience!

Great trip
Convenient departure location near Commerce Square Welcomed on board , plenty of good seats, the advertised free flowing wine was 2 large paper cupfuls which was plenty .
The guide described the historical sites in all 5 languages of the people in the boat ( very impressive)
As the sun set we were in perfect position to get the best sunset pictures. Would recommend.
