Overview

Tailored to the needs of travelers with limited time in Lisbon, this private 1.5-hour sightseeing tour offers a comprehensive overview of Portugal’s capital. Alongside a local guide, check off top Lisbon attractions including Commerce Square, Lisbon Cathedral, the Santa Justa lift, and the Arco de Rua Augusta. Listen to history-enriched commentary as you explore Alfama, Baixa, and Chiado districts and receive undivided attention from your guide on this private tour.

What to Expect

Kick off your comprehensive tour on Commerce Square, where you’ll greet your guide outside of Starbucks. As time is of the essence, you’ll immediately launch into Lisbon’s rich history and see how the city’s monuments pay testament to the past.

Pose for photos in front of the triumphal arch of Rua Augusta and hear the story behind the huge statue of King Jose I. See, too, the 19th-century Santa Justa lift and explore the sophisticated neighborhood of Chiado before strolling around Rossio Square, surrounded by two beautiful baroque fountains.

After exploring the elevated Baixa district, you’ll gaze at Lisbon Cathedral, a masterpiece of austere Romanesque architecture, and absorb panoramic city views from the Mirador de Santa Luzia.

Conclude your tour in Alfama, considered the historic heart of Lisbon, and bid your guide farewell.
