Perfect Day Trip

Wonderful Sintra excursion

The tour delivered everything that was advertised and more. Our guide John (Joao) was excellent - friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable. He gave us a great historical overview of Portugal and insight into living in Portugal today. The Pena Palace was a highlight. Going inside the Palace is highly recommended (slight additional fee).

A must have tour with Rui
Can the person who is reading this review pass it on to the director of the company and ensure that Rui is promoted/ awarded your most valued staff member?!
He is the epitome of hospitality- philoxenia. He was not just a tour guide, he made us feel like he is a friend showing us his country. Fantastic, personalised experience. Extremely knowledgeable and fun! A Portuguese friend anyone wishes to have! Thank you Rui! The photo sums it all up!

Great tour of Sintra

What a great tour! The palace at Sintra was amazing! Our tour guide, Phillip, was so informative and personable. He had to speak in both English and Spanish but that didn't slow him down at all! After our tour of the palace we stopped at a very nice restaurant and had a lovely meal. I would highly recommend his tour and if you can request a certain guide I would highly recommend you ask for Phillip.

Great experience with beautiful scenery- would recommend.
Myself and my partner went on the tour with John from Elvas (I don’t have the Portuguese spelling) a couple of days ago. We had looked at public transport options to Sintra and Cascais however it would have been a lot of logistical planning and hassle, we would recommend this tour for the ease alone. John was our tour guide for the day and he was really positive and engaging and had lots of knowledge and random facts too. We really enjoyed our experience- there was plenty of time to view the attractions and for downtime while in Sintra and Cascais. I would highly recommend doing this tour. We left from central Lisbon at 08:30 and got back to the pick up/drop off point just after 4pm.

This was the first trip I ordered through this website and so glad i did!
We traveled with a small group but the experience was huge.
The guide - João was beyond all expectations; he was the kindest, loveliest and the nicest guide we have ever encountered with. His knowledge about history, languages and everything else was extraordinary. His patience to each of us wasn’t taken for granted-he answered to every question with such a pleasant and welcoming attitude.
There isn’t enough words to describe our gratitude for him.
Definitely recommend this tour. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great guide, great tour

Took a day trip with Selection Tours from Lisbon to Sintra, Cabo de Roca and Cascais. Alberto, our driver and guide, was marvelous--knowledgeable, funny, and just a nice guy. The Pena Palace we visited in Sintra was well worth visiting, and the small group allowed us to interact with the guide and with each other. The van used was comfortable and made for an easy day.

All in all, highly recommended!
