Yves was fantastic! He was an interesting and enthusiastic guide. Gave us a great overview of the history of Antwerp and shared with us the key highlights of the city. Most incredible was his patience and willingness to adapt to us. When our train was canceled, he pushed back our start time and met us at the train station to help us navigate quickly to our hotel so we could drop our bags. Since everyone was hungry he made the first stop a frites shop where we could get a local treat to enjoy on the walk. After the tour followed up with texts of recommendations for restaurants and sights, not only in Antwerp but for our day trips to Bruge and Ghent as well. He was just a great guide. Happy we found him!

It's an excellent tour! You get a lot of beers to taste. Alongside you get both information on the beers and a lot of information on the history of beer too (you don't get that a lot with beer tours..!)

If you are visiting Antwerp for the first time, you have to start your visit with Yves. His way of telling Antwerp history while showing you around town was fantastic. Was easy to talk to, answered a lot of our questions, and gave us solid food/coffee/beer recommendations. When I do visit Ghent in the future, I know who to call!

Tour in Antwerp City, getting to know history and important buildings. Luckilly not a boring history lesson.

Yves (the Beardbarian) is an excellent city guide! Very knowledgeable about history and monuments. He is a witty, funny guide and he is also a very good storyteller. When he tells the stories, you almost feel like you're really there. If you have extra questions, he can answer those too, showing he is very knowledgeable and really studied his topics. If you're ever in Ghent, I can strongly advise contacting him (Beardbarian Entertainment on Facebook) and requesting a tour. Five stars!

This was really a great tour. The guide really knows Ghent like the back of his hand and tells with both passion and has a very good sense of humour. You can expect to get a variety of very interesting stories that make Ghent even more interesting than it already is.

Folk stories and historical facts are presented in a Vibrant/Fun way. Before and after, make sure to taste some Beer. Yves doesn't have to inspire you for that I assume, although, he´s a Beer Expert as well. The rest you need to discover yourself.

An amazing experience! It was the perfect mix between knowledge and entertainment. He made us feel what it felt like to live in ancient time. For the first I wouldn't only recommend the tour to a friend but I gladly join again to repeat the experience!
